Haryana, Deputy Chief Minister, Sh. Dushyant Chautala said that the Haryana government is focusing on rural development. All Gram Panchayats will receive Rs. 2000 per person per year in their accounts for the development works. Gram Panchayats can develop their villages based on their needs.
Sh.Chautala was addressing the public meetings in the villages Sihma, Mayee, Nuni Kalan, Shahpur, Badgaon, Barkoda, Tajpur, Chindalia and Dohar Kalan on the last day of his two-day visit in Mahendragarh district.
He stated that the government has prioritised numerous development projects in the state. As a result, Haryana now ranks first in the country in sports, industry, and tax collection.
The Deputy Chief Minister mentioned that the district Mahendragarh was facing backwardness due to the non improvement of Narnaul-Dadri road for several decades. The current government has prioritised this route, spending Rs 300 crore on it, and it is now nearing completion.
He commended Haryana for setting an example in agriculture that other states are following, noting that 14 crops are purchased under the Minimum Support Price and 19 crops are purchased under the Bhavantar Bharpayee Yojana in Haryana.
He said that the government has provided relief to the citizens as 600 welfare schemes and services are made online. As a result of which the middlemen system has been eliminated.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that the Haryana government has started the Mukhyamantri Kisan Khet Sadak Marg Yojana to strengthen all the small roads in the villages. In the first phase of the scheme, 25 kilometres of 3 and 4 Karam roads will be constructed in the villages of each constituency. All roads will be constructed in a phased manner in the next 5 years.
Various demands were raised in front of the Deputy CM regarding cremation grounds, e- libraries and various roads in several villages to which he gave a positive affirmation and mentioned the schemes for availing them easily and also directed the concerned officers for immediate resolution.
