The Director General of Police (DGP), Haryana Sh. P.K. Agrawal flagged off a bike rally which was organised by Haryana Police under ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign in Panchkula today.
On this occasion, DGP Haryana Sh. P.K. Agrawal said that this year when we are celebrating the 75th anniversary of India’s Independence, ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ is also being organized to enhance the patriotism and make every Indian aware about the love and respect for our ‘Tiranga’.
He also called upon the citizens to participate in this initiative by hoisting the Tiranga in their homes and offices. “Haryana Police is continuously campaigning across the state to spread this message by conduction of social awareness events and activities. On the lines of which, this bike rally is also being organized in Panchkula today,” he added.
He also urged not to keep this campaign limited to a one-day celebration but also to continue this glorious festival even further. This bike rally which started from the Police Headquarters while passing through Geeta Chowk, Sector 10, 4, Sector 3/21, Sector 20 Light Point culminated at the Suncity Parikrama in Sector 20, Panchkula.
Commissioner of Police, Panchkula Sh. Hanif Qureshi while welcoming the DGP Haryana said that the Police is making a significant contribution to make ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign a success on the occasion of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. As a part of which this bike rally is being organized today.
On this occasion DCP Panchkula Mr Surinder Pal Singh, AIG Provisioning, Police Headquarters Mr Kamaldeep Goyal, ACP Panchkula Mrs Mamta Sodha including representatives of Resident Welfare Association and NGOs, officers of Police Department and NDRF personnel were also present.
Haryana Police celebrating the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign across the state
Haryana Police is actively seen organising various social awareness events and activities like Tiranga Yatra, Bike Rally, etc. under the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign across 23 Police districts in Haryana.

Haryana Police has also spread the message of ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ through the social media in the last few days. The Police gave a message of more love to the national flag to the people by replacing the photo of their social media account with the tricolour.
