The Special Task Force Ambala team of Haryana Police has succeeded in arresting a notorious bounty gangster of Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang after an encounter. A huge quantity of foreign arms and cartridges has been recovered from the accused possession.
Today, the team of STF Ambala conducted a search operation in the Sadar Karnal area police station to nab the most wanted criminals. The team received secret information Mukesh, a resident of village Jamba police station Nigdu district Karnal an active member of Ankush Kamalpur Gang and Lawrence Group who is the main supplier of weapons of Ankush’s gang has brought illegal foreigner weapons in quantity through a drone from Pakistan.
On the basis of the information received, the team raided the spot and after the encounter, the accused Mukesh was arrested. A total of 4 illegal foreign pistols, empty shells and 10 live cartridges were recovered from the possession of the accused. A case was registered against the accused in the police station Sadar Karnal under police station 307 IPC and Arms Act.
During the preliminary interrogation of the accused and the information collected from other credible evidence revealed that the accused Mukesh has links with Babbar Khalsa Group, Lawrence Group, or Ankush Kamalpur Gang. The accused had purchased these illegal weapons from gangsters Damanjot Singh alias Kahlon and Virender Sambi who are currently residing abroad. The accused tried to get these weapons from Pakistan through a drone.
It was also revealed in the investigation that at the behest of the accused gangster and other terrorists, along with other members of his gang, plans were made to murder Brijpal, brother of gangster Neeraj Punia and Prahlad Khatwa resident Abohar. The accused Mukesh was being funded by Virendra Sambhi who is currently in sitting to conduct anti-national activities.
A reward was also announced on behalf of the Haryana Police Department for the accused. A total of 9 cases are registered against the accused in Haryana and Punjab that include an attempt to murder, robbery, ransom demand, Arms Act and indulging in terrorist activities.
The accused was on the run in a case registered in Punjab for being involved in terrorist activities. The accused will be produced before the court and taken on police remand. During the remand, the accused will be interrogated thoroughly and the other accomplices of the accused will be arrested and the matter will be disclosed.
