IEP Chandigarh, January 25
On the occasion of National Voters Day, Additional Director General of Police, (Admin and IT) Haryana, Dr. A.S. Chawla administered the pledge to various ranks of Haryana Police in a function organised at the Police headquarters.
Dr. Chawla administered the pledge of having abiding faith in democracy and maintaining the dignity of democratic values like free, fair, and peaceful elections. The Police officers and personnel who were present at the event pledged to use their voting rights in every election fearlessly and without being influenced by considerations of religion, race, caste, community, language, or any inducement.
Additional DGP (Law and Order) Sandeep Khirwar, AIG Provisioning Kamaldeep Goyal, AIG Welfare Rajeev Deswal, Additional Director (Legal) Sat Parkash and other officers were also present on this occasion.
Every year, January 25 is observed as National Voters’ Day.
