Haryana Urban Local Bodies Commissioner Sh. Vikas Gupta today visited the Murthal-Tajpur Waste to Energy Plant and reviewed the production capacity of the plant. He directed the officers that all the garbage from the concerned areas should be sent to the plant so that it can be used to the generate electricity.
Sh. Gupta inspected the plant along with Municipal Commissioner Sonipat, Sh. Vishram Kumar Meena, and other officers. He reviewed the production capacity and other necessary arrangements. He said that the plant should be operated smoothly so that the garbage can be disposed of properly, which will strengthen the cleanliness system.
Sh. Gupta also reviewed the cleanliness system in the urban area and said that the work of collecting garbage from door to door should be completed entirely. There should be no garbage piles anywhere. The cleanliness system should be given special attention as it is crucial not only for the environment but also for one’s health.
During the inspection Municipal Commissioner and other officers remained present.
