Haryana Governent has allocated over Rs. 3.96 crore to 496 beneficiaries under the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Awas Navinikarn Yojna, spanning from April 1, 2023, to December 31, 2023. This initiative is designed to offer financial aid to underprivileged families in the state for the purpose of house repairs.
Sharing information in this regard an official spokesperson said that citizens interested in availing the government’s financial assistance for house repairs can check their eligibility criteria and apply online. Applicants can also submit their applications online through the ‘Saral Haryana’ portal.
The SEWA department provides Rs 80,000 financial assistance for house repairs to BPL families under the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Awas Navinikarn Yojna. This amount is given as a lump sum and is transferred directly to the beneficiary’s registered and Aadhaar-linked bank account.
All BPL families are eligible for this scheme. To avail the benefits of this scheme, the applicant must be a permanent resident of Haryana and their name must be listed in the BPL list. The application form can be downloaded from the Haryana SCBC website at https://haryanascbc.gov.in.
Documents required for the scheme
For this scheme, it is necessary to get the form verified by the Sarpanch of the village or Municipal Councilor in the city. The applicant should bring his/her family ID, ration card (for BPL card holders), bank account copy, residential certificate, caste certificate, house registry/fard, Parivar Pehchan Patra, income certificate, applicant’s photo in front of the house and any one of these documents like electricity bill/water bill/stove tax/house tax and proof of estimated expenditure on repair of the house etc. must be attached with the application. Eligibility for Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Awas Navinikarn Yojna
The applicant for this scheme should be a permanent resident of Haryana state. The name of the applicant should be registered in the BPL ration card list. The annual income of the family should not exceed from Rs 1.80 lakh. House for which assistance is sought must be in applicant’s name for at least 10 years, require repairs, and not have received any previous grant/funds for repairs from any other department.
