Haryana School Education, Forest and Environment Minister Sh. Kanwar Pal inaugurated the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra Jansamvad programme organised in Pratap Nagar and Chhachhrauli of YamunaNagar district on Tuesday.
As the chief guest of the programme, the School Education Minister urged the villagers to avail the benefits of the government’s welfare schemes. He also redressed the grievances of the villagers and directed concerned officers for their immediate solution. He said that Viksit Bharat will only be built when our youth get the education that enables them to be employable.
He said that Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi has set a target of making India a developed nation in the next 25 years. The government working is diligently to curate this vision into reality.
“Through the Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam, priority has been given to candidates from BPL families with an annual income of less than Rs 1.8 lakh in jobs. Five additional marks are given to the candidate of that ‘Antyodaya’ family in the recruitment of government jobs, whose no member is in government service” said the Haryana School Education minister.
He stated that the goal of this Yatra is to ensure that all eligible individuals benefit from the welfare schemes of the Central and State Governments. This Yatra aims to uplift the poorest and the last person in line and connect them to mainstream development. The minister said that there are many schemes like Ayushman Bharat, Chirayu Card, Jan-Dhan Account, Har Ghar Nal Se Jal, Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Swachh Bharat are being presented to the public through this Yatra.
In the Viksit Bharat Jansamvad Sankalp Yatra programme, the government’s various schemes were shown in LED vans and also various departments related to Antyodaya were set up to create awareness among the general public and benefit them.
Stalls were also set up at the venue of the programme, including a bank stall, health checkup camp, help desk, AYUSH camp, yoga practice, education department, PM Ujjwala Yojana etc. Sh. Kanwar Pal along with the officers and villagers inspected the stalls.
School Education Minister Kanwar Pal administered an oath to the people, reaffirming their commitment to making India a developed nation and achieving self-reliance by 2047.
In the Viksit Bharat Jansamvad Sankalp Yatra programme the publicity staff of the District Information and Public Relations Department gave information about the schemes through development songs. During this, beneficiaries shared their experiences related to government schemes through ‘Meri Kahani – Meri Zubani’ during the programme.
