Haryana Financial Commissioner Revenue and Additional Chief Secretary, Home and Revenue Department, Sh. TVSN Prasad urged the Deputy Commissioners to consider the Jan Samvad platform as an opportunity to further enhance public service.
Sh. TVSN Prasad was conducting a review of the advancement of various schemes and issues with Deputy Commissioners via video conference late last evening. Discussing the Jan Samvad in detail, he specifically instructed the DCs to closely scrutinize and address grievances raised on the platform.
Furthermore, Sh. TVSN Prasad addressed the backlog of Revenue Court Cases and Stamp Act Cases. He instructed Deputy Commissioners to accelerate the resolution process, minimizing pendency, and ensuring the highest level of public satisfaction. The progress of SVAMITVA, Modern Revenue Record Rooms (MRRR), and the Haryana Large Scale Mapping Project (HaLSMNP) was also scrutinized, with a directive to expedite the work on all three projects.
Regarding SVAMITVA, Sh. TVSN Prasad emphasized the need to address grievances raised by individuals on the Svamitva Grievances Portal. He informed the portal which was earlier opened till 31st December 2023 to register the grievances will be opened again till 31st January 2024.
In relation to Modern Record Rooms, the FCR directed Deputy Commissioners to hasten the verification process, facilitating easy online access to public records. A comprehensive review of E-Bhoomi cases was undertaken, and FCR Haryana specifically instructed Deputy Commissioners to expedite cases, particularly those related to infrastructure projects such as schools, hospitals, and roads. It is expected that the whole demarcation process of land will be shifted to Rovers by 31st March 2024 to ensure transparency and credibility of the process to improve public confidence, he added.
During the meeting, it was directed that all evacuee property cases undergo a thorough review and be brought to a logical conclusion, adhering to transparent procedures and relevant legal frameworks.
Issues regarding resources and staff were discussed with the DCs. Required sanctions were issued in this regard. Also, FCR directed that any issue if faced by DCs regarding the resources, shall be communicated to the Department so that the same can be resolved at the earliest. He said that it is important to strengthen the districts to make them work to their maximum efficiency.
