Taking a strict cognizance against corrupt practices, Haryana Urban Local Body Minister, Dr. Kamal Gupta has terminated the services of the personal assistant in his staff for receiving a food item as a gift from the Assistant Engineer, Municipal Corporation, Gurugram. Besides this, taking strict action against the Assistant Engineer, the Minister ordered his immediate suspension.
On the occasion of Republic Day celebrations, Urban Local Body Minister, Dr. Kamal Gupta had gone to Gurugram to unfurl the flag. After the conclusion of the event, the Minster was informed that a personal assistant of his staff, Sanjeev Siroha, had received food items as a gift from the Assistant Engineer of the Municipal Corporation, Gurugram, for personal use, to which he took strict cognizance.
