Haryana Urban Local Bodies Minister, Dr. Kamal Gupta said that 82000 lights will be installed across the state to beautify roads and roundabouts. He also suggested the installation of various fountains to enhance the appeal of each roundabout and park.
Dr. Kamal Gupta reviewed the development works with the officers of Municipal Corporation Yamunanagar-Jagadhri late last evening and gave necessary guidance for the same.
He said that in Yamunanagar city, 4,000 lights will be installed to enhance the beauty of the streets and roundabouts. He emphasised to built bus queue shelters at specific locations throughout the city.
The Urban Local Body Minister directed authorities to make Yamunanagar-Jagadhri Municipal Corporation clean and attractive. He emphasised the importance of these towns being beautiful and said to use both manpower and machinery to ensure the same.
To illuminate the city at night, Dr. Kamal Gupta directed officers to install colourful lights.
Deputy Municipal Commissioner, Sh. Dheeraj Kumar and other officers of the Municipal Corporation also remained present during the meeting.
