2026: While the global real estate industry still depends heavily on brokers, middlemen, and traditional selling methods, a twenty-four-year-old entrepreneur Aagman Bhatia who has his roots in the Chandigarh capital region, has been able to become a pioneer in taking real estate directly to customers’ doorsteps through Artificial Intelligence(AI), Virtual Reality(VR), Augmented Reality(AR) & Immersive Technology through proptech start-up Dooritt.

Currently, the world’s biggest AI companies such as Perplexity AI, Google Gemini, OpenAI, and Anthropic are primarily focused on disrupting sectors like IT, healthcare, & engineering; but Aagman is offering solutions in one of the world’s most unorganized industries — Real Estate. Industry experts believe this could redefine the future of global real estate, just as fintech transformed banking and e-commerce changed retail.

Aagman Bhatia, who is the Co-Founder & Chief Product officer(CPO) of Dooritt & KS Bhatia, the Co-Founder and CEO of Dooritt held a press conference in Chandigarh to share details on how Dooritt is disrupting the real estate space and to announce a new phase of expansion and technological advancement. Notably, Aagman Bhatia is son of K.S Bhatia, a serial entrepreneur from the Chandigarh capital region who disrupted the Pump Industry with Pumpkart, a decade ago. The duo made an important announcement about Dooritt’s Experience Centres’ expansion.

Speaking about the Dooritt innovation, Aagman Bhatia said, “Dooritt aims to bring virtual experience at the customer’s doorstep. A prospective customer can book property virtually from his or her home free of cost through the Dooritt App. Then the customer’s partner visits him or her with a Meta headset and gives a virtual experience through this meta headset for a number of properties of their choice area or city.”

“Customers can speak with AI and can ask anything related to the project like rooms’ size, availability of flats, amenities, nearby areas, appreciation, AQI, schools nearby & more. Prospective customers are able to do a comparison of properties after taking a virtual tour through the comparison chart in the App. Then AI’s OORA plans the customer’s site visit and shares a plan on Google Map. So with the support of Google map, customers visit 5-7 properties in a matter of days & close the deal, something that used to take usually 2-3 months,” explained Aagman.

Meanwhile, the duo unveiled advanced AI capabilities & announced Dooritt’s Experience Centres’ expansion. Dooritt’s first Experience Centre is coming up in Noida in mid of June, & the first phase of expansion in north India includes Chandigarh, Shimla & Gurgaon.

“These centres will provide immersive, large-format property exploration powered by AI, augmented reality (AR), and virtual reality (VR). Our experience centres will offer what we describe as an ‘IMAX-Like’ real estate experience,” said KS Bhatia.

Aagman shared details of another innovation. He said, “Our platform can deliver insights equivalent to six months of market research in just 10 minutes. This innovation is expected to significantly accelerate decision-making for both homebuyers and real estate investors.”

Aagman Bhatia also spoke about Dooritt’s plans to bring an Indoor Navigation System for indoor spaces which only exists in Dubai malls & in Asia Pacific region at the moment. This navigation system will be very useful in malls, airports & other commercial buildings.

KS Bhatia also highlighted the start-up’s journey and its roots in Chandigarh, while candidly addressing the challenges faced in the region. He noted that the start-up originated in Mohali in the Chandigarh capital region. “We created the AI driven real estate start-up in the region, but later moved to Noida,” he said.

“There is a need for a stronger start-up ecosystem in the region. There is limited support for start-ups and low awareness of emerging technologies such as AI, AR and VR in the Chandigarh region. We want to make tricity a hub for AI driven innovations and that is why we have decided to set up an experience centre here,” added KS Bhatia.

Speaking about global expansion Aagman said that with an existing presence in India and Dubai there is a planned expansion into international markets such as Pattaya, Phuket and Bali.

K S Bhatia added, “Dooritt is positioning itself as a globally scalable platform emerging from India’s growing technology ecosystem. We are making global platforms from India in keeping with the mission of PM Narendra Modi.”
