HSIIDC Revolutionizes Services with Online Platforms for Digital Transformation

 The Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) has taken a momentous stride towards digital transformation with the introduction of various online services.        In the 377th Board of Directors (BOD) meeting held today, Mr. V. Umashankar, PSCM, who is also the Chairman of HSIIDC, unveiled the “Haryana Udyog Mitra” mobile application. This intuitive app allows allottees to seamlessly conduct their day-to-day business transactions with HSIIDC from the convenience of their homes. As a key component of the digital transformation journey, the app consolidates all traditional offline services into a unified platform, accessible 24/7. It is available for both Android and iOS platforms, catering to a wide range of users.        Mr. Anand Mohan Sharan, Additional Chief Secretary, Industries and Commerce unveiled two additional digital initiatives – the Chatbot and WhatsApp Messaging services. With these innovative services, allottees can receive digitally signed approvals; make payments, track services, access water bills, RLAs, and more in real time through WhatsApp Messaging. The Chatbot feature facilitates instant interaction with the corporation, providing services such as application status tracking, outstanding dues, plot status, frequently asked questions (FAQs), and more.        The introduction of these digital services signifies HSIIDC’s commitment to leveraging technology for the benefit of its stakeholders and ushering in a new era of convenience and accessibility in business transactions. The corporation remains dedicated to embracing digital transformation to enhance its services and ensure a seamless experience for its allottees.

Chief Minister brings cheer on the faces of children under “HARIHAR” scheme

 The “HARIHAR” scheme implemented by the State Government for providing educational, financial and employment benefits to the abandoned and surrendered children brought cheer to several faces as Chief Minister, Sh Manohar Lal today handed over appointment letters for jobs in government departments to 11 children.           Sh Manohar Lal handed over appointment letters at a programme organized at Chief Minister’s residence Sant Kabir Kutir here today. The Minister of State for Women and Child Development Smt. Kamlesh Dhada was also present on this occasion.These children have been appointed to Group-C and Group-D posts in Departments of School Education, Health, Urban Local Bodies, Health, Women and Child Development and Office of Deputy Commissioner, Kaithal.Additional Chief Secretary, Women and Child Development, Dr. Sumita Misra apprised the Chief Minister that Haryana is the first state in the country where such a unique scheme “HARIHAR” (Homeless, Abandoned and Surrendered Children Rehabilitation initiative Haryana) has been started for the upliftment of destitute children. She said that 11 children including nine girls and two boys have been given appointment letters today.        The eligible beneficiaries who have been selected for Haryana Government Group C and D jobs under the policy included Aditi, Prarthana, Madhavi, Madhulika, Neelima, Anadi, Sudha, Sarita, Divya, Kanhiya and Himanshu.The State Government has notified the “HARIHAR” policy for providing educational, financial and employment benefits to the abandoned and surrendered children who have completed 18 years of age from child care institutions of the state and were abandoned before the age of 5 years or surrendered before the age of 1 year. Under this scheme, free school and higher education including technical education, skill development and industrial training and after care stay, rehabilitation and financial assistance at the rate of Rs 2500 per month upto the age of 25 years of marriage whichever is earlier are provided. Apart from this one-time interest free loan for purchase of a house in Haryana State at the time of marriage of beneficiaries is also given. Similarly, jobs on compassionate ground are provided to abandoned and surrendered children, who were admitted to child care institutions before the age of five years (as Abandoned) and before the age of one year (as Surrendered) and who have completed the age of 18 years in Child Care Institutions, upto the age of 25 years, and who possess the required qualification.        On this occasion, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Sh V. Umashankar, Deputy Principal Secretary Sh K.M Pandurang and other officers of Women and Child Development Department were also present. 

Punjab CM vows to ensure supply of canal water at the tail end of the last field in the state

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Thursday reiterated the firm commitment of his government to ensure canal water at the tail end of the last field in the state.In a statement issued here today, the Chief Minister said that the state government is duty bound for this noble cause. He said already due to strenuous efforts of the state government water has reached the far flung areas of Fazilka districts. Bhagwant Mann said that the state government had delivered a promise made to cotton cultivators of the state that canal water will reach their fields from April 1. Expressing deep concern over the gravity of the emerging situation due to the fast depleting water table, the Chief Minister said almost all the blocks in the state are in the dark zone as far as the groundwater is concerned. Bhagwant Mann said that it has happened due to reckless pumping of water in fields adding that the trend needs to be checked immediately so that our future generations do-not have to strive for water. He said that optimum utilisation of canal water can reduce the burden on ground water thereby checking its depletion. The Chief Minister said that the state government is taking massive steps for optimum utilisation of the canal water to save the groundwater. He said that at present Punjab is using only 33%-34% of its canal water adding that this will be enhanced in the coming days. Bhagwant Mann envisioned that if Punjab can enhance the canal water utilisation to 60% in first phase then nearly four lakh tubewells out of total 14 lakh can be stopped thereby helping in saving water.

Deputy CM urges citizens to embrace yoga to keep body and mind healthy

Haryana Deputy Chief Minister, Sh. Dushyant Chautala called upon the citizens to embrace yoga to keep body and mind healthy. Let us all take a pledge to take yoga forward by adopting it for the improvement of lifestyle and mindfulness, he added.Deputy CM was addressing yoga practitioners as Chief Guest in the programme organized in Panchkula on the occasion of International Yoga Day today. Minister of State for Printing and Stationery Sardar Sandeep Singh was also present.While congratulating the people of Panchkula on International Yoga Day, Sh. Dushyant Chautala said that it is a matter of pride for all of us that since 2015, continuous programmes are being organized to mark International Yoga Day. Referring to today’s live telecast message of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi, said that at present work is being done to promote yoga even in remote areas.Describing yoga as extremely beneficial for mental balance, he said that today Yoga Day programs are being organized in about 177 countries around the world. The Indian yoga system has been adopted around the world. Presently, it is advised all around the world that situations of extreme stress may be prevented by incorporating yoga into daily life.Earlier, the Deputy Chief Minister also practiced yoga asanas along with thousands of people present in the programme.Minister of State for Printing and Stationery Sardar Sandeep Singh also highlighted the importance of Yoga in his address and congratulated the organizers for organizing such a grand event to mark International Yoga Day.Additional Deputy Commissioner, Smt. Yoga is the medium of stress-free life, says Haryana CM

While describing Yoga as a medium to make life stress-free, Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that Yoga has been included in the school curriculum in the State so as make Yoga a part of the lifestyle right from the beginning. He said that this way, we can realize Swami Dayanand Saraswati’s message given in Satyarth Prakash’s ‘Healthy mind lives in a healthy body’ in a real manner.The Chief Minister was addressing yoga practitioners and students at the State Level Yoga Day programme organized at Shivaji Stadium in Panipat on the occasion of International Yoga Day today.The Chief Minister started his address with Yoga: Karmasu Kaushalam. He said that yoga works as a medicine for many diseases; therefore we should do yoga regularly.He said that Prime Minister, Sh Narendra Modi got recognition to Yoga at the international level by getting a resolution passed in the United Nations General Assembly in the year 2015.  This year by giving the theme “Yoga for Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, he has also given a message to the G-20 group of countries about the significance of Yoga in human life.        The Chief Minister called upon the people to make collective efforts to promote yoga. He said that it is also the responsibility of yoga practitioners to take yoga to every person and inspire them to adopt yoga in their life so that the dream of “Har Aangan Yoga” becomes a reality and the people of our state and country remain healthy.The Chief Minister said he has made Yoga, a part of his life and he practices Yoga for about 45 minutes daily. Doing Yoga not only increases one’s ability to work but also helps in making life stress-free and joyful.  Thus, everyone should adopt the routine of doing Yoga daily in their life so as to stay healthy and fit.  He said that Yoga also prepares our body to deliver better results. During his address, the Chief Minister also highlighted the significance of different types of yoga asanas.Chairman, of Haryana Yoga Ayog, Dr. Jaideep Arya got practiced yoga protocol and also explained the benefits of different types of yoga asanas. On this occasion, Director General AYUSH and Divisional Commissioner, Dr. Saket Kumar honoured the Chief Minister by presenting him Shrimad Bhagavad Gita and a sapling of Tulsi.MLA Sh. Haryana Police organizes Yoga event to mark 9th International Yoga Day

 To celebrate the 9th International Day of Yoga, Haryana Police organized the State level Yoga event at the Police Officers Institute in Panchkula. The event witnessed the participation of the Director General of Police (DGP) Haryana, Sh. P.K. Agrawal, along with other senior police officers and personnel. Under the guidance of instructors, they actively practiced various yoga asanas during the event.During the event, messages from Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi and Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Manohar Lal was broadcast live.Addressing the gathering, the DGP congratulated everyone and highlighted that the International Day of Yoga has been celebrated globally for the past nine years. He emphasized the importance of incorporating yoga into our daily routines to maintain a healthy body.The yoga and pranayama camp lasted for approximately one and a half hours. DGP Haryana Sh. P.K. Agrawal, ADGP Law and Order Haryana, Smt. Mamta Singh, IGP Modernization Sh. Amitabh Singh Dhillon, AIG Provisioning Sh. Kamaldeep Goyal, DCP Law and Order Panchkula Smt. Many sages and saints in India have practiced and promoting Yoga as a means to attain self-realization and inner peace.Sh. Anil Vij acknowledges the efforts of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi in promoting Yoga on a global scale. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, the United Nations declared June 21st as International Day of Yoga in 2014. In order to promote Ayurveda and Yoga, work is being done to establish Ayush University on 100 acres of land in Kurukshetra, in which students will study about the five disciplines related to Ayurveda, Yoga, Siddha, Unani, Homeopathy and to take information about it and Ayush University is the world’s first university in Haryana. Today employment opportunities are becoming available through yoga.He said that work is also being carried out to promote yoga in Haryana, Chief Minister Sh. Manohar Lal has asked to make yoga compulsory in the curriculum and has called upon private schools to do the same.On this occasion, the AYUSH Minister also said that Yog Manas app has also been launched. International Yoga Day was celebrated in a grand manner in Gurugram district today under the theme ‘Har Ghar, Aangan Yoga’. Rajya Sabha MP and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President, Sh. JP Nadda on Wednesday participated in the International Yoga Day programme at Tau Devi Lal Stadium at Sector-38, Gurugram.He inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp. On this occasion, Bhiwani-Mahendragarh MP, Sh. Dharmbir Singh and BJP State President, Sh. Om Prakash Dhankhar were also present as a special guest.Sh. Nadda said every year International Yoga Day is celebrated on June 21 worldwide. It serves as a platform to raise awareness about the numerous benefits of yoga and promote its holistic approach to physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.  He urges everyone to incorporate yoga in their daily routine.Interacting with the media persons, Sh. JP Nadda said that in 2014, Prime Minister, Sh. Haryana Government Allots Extra 3 Acres of Land to National Institute of Design (NID) in Umri, Kurukshetra

The Haryana Government will allocate an additional 3 acres of land to the National Institute of Design (NID), Umri, Kurukshetra, Haryana. After this addition, the NID will have the campus area of 23 acres and will be providing state of the art facilities for the faculty and students for their development.This decision was taken during a meeting chaired by the Chief Secretary, Mr. Sanjeev Kaushal, held today.This land will be utilized for the construction of a hostel and other building blocks to facilitate the expansion of the institute.The Chief Secretary informed that out of the 3 acres of land, 2 acres will be provided by the Development and Panchayats Department, while the remaining 1 acre will be contributed by the Government Polytechnic, Umri, Kurukshetra.The Chief Secretary emphasized the importance of providing necessary resources and facilities to educational institutions like NID. This step will contribute to creating an environment conducive to innovation and creativity, enabling students to excel in the field of design.In addition, the Chief Secretary instructed the Deputy Commissioner of Kurukshetra to ensure proper waste disposal by the contractor under the state government’s cluster scheme for waste management at NID. Sh. Kaushal further directed the deputy commissioner to take necessary action for the installation of streetlights along the road adjacent to the institute.He also emphasized exploring the feasibility of constructing an underpass for the convenient movement of students to and from the institute gate. The Chief Secretary directed the concerned officials to visit the institute, hold a meeting with the director of NID, and address any prevailing issues promptly.The Chief Secretary of Haryana highlighted the importance of the National Institute of Design (NID) as a prestigious institution for the state. He emphasized the commitment of the Haryana government to provide all the necessary facilities to support the institute’s growth and development.Recognizing the significance of NID in shaping the design landscape of Haryana, the Chief Secretary urged the concerned officers to closely coordinate with the director of NID. He emphasized the need for prompt resolution of any challenges or issues faced by the institute.The National Institute of Design aims to lead the way in innovative design approaches across industries, commerce, and development sectors.The multi-disciplinary environment of NID Haryana fosters diverse design domains, contributing to an innovative and holistic ecosystem for design education and delivering solutions that align with the evolving needs of people, incorporating digital and cutting-edge technologies.The meeting was attended by Additional Chief Secretary of the Higher Education Department, Sh. Anand Mohan Sharan, Additional Chief Secretary of the Development and Panchayats Department, Sh. Anil Malik, Director of Higher Education, and Special Secretary of the Higher Education Department, Sh. Rajiv Rattan, as well as the Deputy Commissioner of Kurukshetra, Sh. Shantanu Sharma. 

CM leads more than 50,000 people to transform ‘cm di yogshala’ into a mass movement

With an aim to transform ‘CM di Yogshala’ into a mass movement, the Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann  on Tuesday led more than 50,000 people of the state to conduct Yoga for carving out a healthy, progressive and prosperous state.“This revolution in the health sector is aimed at making the people of the state healthy both mentally and physically” asserted the Chief Minister while addressing the gathering in a function ‘CM di Yogshala’ here today at the PAP ground in which people from all sections of society participated enthusiastically.The Chief Minister envisioned that the ‘CM di Yogshala’ will act as a stepping stone for carving out a healthy and vibrant Punjab. He said that thousands of Punjabis have joined him for this noble cause and the day is not far when Punjab will regain its pristine glory of being a healthy and vibrant state. Bhagwant Mann said that unlike previous governments this is not a political function but the sole aim of this campaign is to make Punjab a healthy state by inspiring people to make Yoga an integral part of their life.The Chief Minister said that ‘CM di Yogshala’ is a citizen centric project, which is the brainchild of the Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and had attained lot of popularity amongst people in national capital. He said that a large number of population in national capital was benefitted from this pro-people initiative. Bhagwant Mann said that as a part of this campaign highly trained Yoga instructors will impart free Yoga training to people in open parks and other public places.The Chief Minister said that the primary motive of this campaign is to ensure that a mass campaign is started for making Punjab healthy, prosperous and progressive. He said that yoga was very essential for a fit body and sound mind adding that every individual should make yoga an integral part of their daily life to remain hale and hearty. Bhagwant Mann said that the  ‘CM di Yogshala’ campaign will act as a pivotal to create awareness amongst the people about ensuring good health and hygiene by practicing Yoga.The Chief Minister said that it is the need of the hour not only to maintain good health but also de-stress the people, who face numerous challenges every day in their lives. He said that rising stress levels amongst people is a major cause of concern for everyone and Yoga can play an important role in saving the people from it.
