On the auspicious occasion of Eid festival, Haryana Home and Health Minister, Sh. Anil Vij has called upon the people that we all should together take a pledge to make the country beautiful and developed as we have to work day and night to make the developed and beautiful country to greater heights”.        Sh. Vij was addressing the people present on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr at Jama Masjid in Ambala Cantonment today. He said that today is the happy day of Eid and he has come among them to wish everyone a happy Eid. He said that the day of Eid is celebrated to thank the Supreme Father God for the sighting of the moon after a month of sacrifice, penance and worship. He said that God and Allah have given strength that despite facing all kinds of difficulties, everyone has celebrated the month of Ramzan happily. Sh. Vij said that today is the day of happiness, a day to meet, a day to hug and love each other. “It is the day to eat sweet vermicelli and speak sweet language, let us sweeten our mouth and talk sweetly”, he added.        Home Minister Anil Vij said that he wants the school in Ram Kishan Colony to be made a Dharamshala by putting a roof over it and he will give whatever money will be required for the construction work. On this, everyone thanked Home Minister Anil Vij for this announcement. Earlier, on his arrival at Jama Masjid, he was received by the Imam of the mosque, Maulana Mohammad Asgar Kasni and others.Our language and region may be different, but our Indianness cannot be different from us – Vij        Home Minister Anil Vij said that we all together have made this India, there is no religion, caste, no language, and no picture in it. He said that our Prime Minister Narendra Modi has now taken a pledge to make a developed India that this country should no longer remain backward, there should be no shortage here, all the needs of the people here could be fulfilled, people should get all the facilities. He said that the countries which got independence after us have developed today, but we still have a lot of work and we all have to do this work together and do it as Indians.        Sh. Vij said that our language and region may be different, but our Indianness cannot be different from us. We all are Indians and by being Indians we have to take this country to the heights of the world. We all have to work together to make dream true of Narendra Modi. He said that poor, rich, employees, officers and politicians all have to work together so that we can remove the difficulties of the people of the country.Worked with people to make Ambala Cantonment beautiful – Vij        Home Minister Anil Vij said that with your blessings, your cooperation, your love, we have done some work to make the city beautiful. The people of Ambala Cantonment had to go to Chandigarh, Delhi or Gurugram for treatment of minor ailments, but we have built a good civil hospital and cancer hospital here. He said that Subhash Park has been made in Ambala Cantonment. Roads have been widened, drains have been made underground, and more than 140 dharamshalas have been built for the people. Martyr’s memorial and bank square is being built and together we are working to make Ambala Cantonment beautiful.

Eight agendas of development projects worth more than Rs 131 crores approved

Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal today approved eight agendas of the development projects worth more than Rs 131 crore; including three agendas of PWD (B&R), two projects of Faridabad Metropolitan Development Authority (FMDA), two of Public Health Engineering Department and one of Town Country Planning department.        The Chief Minister was chairing the meeting of the committee for development projects worth more than Rs 10 crore here today.        During the meeting, approval was accorded to canal-based water works worth more than Rs 13 crore for five villages in Jind including Dalamwala, Bohatwala, Khokri, Haibatpur and Mando from Hansi branch for uninterrupted access to drinking water.Apart from this, the Chief Minister gave approval to the agenda for construction of new disposal at Gurunanak Pura and laying of HDPE pipeline for disposal of storm water from Gurunanak Pura disposal to Jasia drain at chairman road, Rohtak at a cost of about Rs 23.75 crore.        Besides, approval was accorded for three Ranney Wells of 10 MLD capacity under augmentation of water supply scheme of Faridabad Metropolitan Development Authority. The project will be set up in Bhikuka andMothuka villages, adjacent to the Yamuna River at cost of about Rs 51.5 crore.        Also, the agenda for development and execution of master road of Sectors 14/15 and 16/17 in Faridabad at an amount of Rs 16 crore was finalized; besides approvalfor the construction of internal roads, water supply, sewerage and SWD scheme in Sector 7, Rewari at a cost of about Rs 9.50 crore.Along with this, approval was also given for the improvement of Gurugram-Farukhnagar-Jhajjar four-lane road at a cost of around Rs 17.25 crore.        Chief Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Sh. DS Dhesi, Additional Chief Secretary, Sh. Anurag Rastogi, ACS, Sh. AK Singh, ACS, Sh. Arun Gupta, Chief Administrator, Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran,Sh. Haryana government determined to realize Prime Minister’s vision to make India TB-free by 2025: Chief Minister

Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that the Haryana government is determined to make the state TB-free by the year 2025, in order to realize Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi’s vision to make India TB-free by 2025. “With the determination that ‘TB will lose and the country will win’, the state government is taking meaningful steps, he said, urging the TB patients to take benefits of free TB testing and treatment services available in government health institutions and spreading awareness about TB.       The Chief Minister was interacting with the TB patients under the Nikshay Yojana through audio-conferencing today.  During the interaction, the patients expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for the health facilities and financial assistance being provided by the Central and State Government for the treatment.       Sh. Manohar Lal said that Tuberculosis is not an incurable disease and if treated regularly for the right duration; it is completely cured. He assured all the TB patients that they would not face any problem related to nutrition and treatment. “In this direction, we are also taking the help of various organizations and social workers,” he added.       He also expressed gratitude to President, Smt. Droupadi Murmu for launching the Nikshay Yojana in September, 2022 for the nutrition of TB patients. The Chief Minister called upon various organizations and corporates to adopt TB patients to nurture them. This scheme was also launched in Haryana on September 15, 2022. Under this, nutrition kits are being given to TB patients by adopting them by the Governor, Health Minister and eminent citizens, he added.The Chief Minister informed that he has also adopted five TB patients under this scheme.Nutrition kits distributed to 8,000 TB patients in the state so far under Nikshay Yojana       The Chief Minister said that a portal- https://communitysupport.nikshay.in/ has been created for organizations, companies etc, who want to help TB patients in the state. “Various organizations and individuals who want to provide nutritional support to TB patients can visit this portal and register themselves by creating a login ID. They are called Nikshay Mitra. So far around 1,500 such Nikshay Mitras are registered on this portal,” he added.       He said that nutrition kits have so far been distributed to 8,000 patients in the state under the Nikshay Yojana. These nutrition kits include wheat, rice, groundnut edible oil and pulses etc. This initiative has boosted the morale of TB patients and helped them to become free from the disease, he asserted.       The Chief Minister urged the TB patients to contact the District TB Officer in case of help needed for nutritious food. He said that cooperation is being taken from private and corporate hospitals to expand the services of TB treatment. “Many companies have come forward and cooperated extensively in this work. Various corporate companies have adopted 13 districts to make them TB free. Medanta Hospital is conducting an intensive campaign by mobile vans to check TB patients in Yamunanagar and Karnal. In Rewari district too, new TB patients are being screened by a company with the help of mobile van, which has been named as Sankalp Project,” he said.

Chief Minister assures Himachal native Piyush Chaudhary for making of his Ayushman card

After the assurance of Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal, the problem related to Ayushman Bharat card of Himachal Pradesh’s Paonta Sahib resident, Piyush Chaudhary is being resolved soon. During the Jan Samvad programme of Nikshaya Yojana, a resident of Paonta Sahib had complained about not getting Ayushman card made in Himachal.        The Paonta Sahib resident apprised the Chief Minister that he had got his TB treatment done in Yamunanagar hospital; but he is a native of Himachal Pradesh and his Ayushman card has not been made.        On his request, Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal assured to resolve the problem; stating that he will also apprise Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister about the same during their meeting.        Later, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister, Sh. Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, who came to meet Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal at Haryana Niwas in Chandigarh; was informed about the problem. On this, Sh. Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu assured to resolve the problem of the beneficiary immediately.

Manohar Lal welcomed him with a bouquet, while Sh. Sukhvinder Singh also expressed gratitude to Haryana Chief Minister by presenting him a shawl and a Himachali cap.

        Himachal Health Minister Col (Dr) Dhani Ram Shandil, Chief Parliamentary Secretary Ramkumar, Principal Private Secretary to Chief Minister, Vivek Bhatia, Media Advisor to Chief Minister, Naresh Chauhan, Deputy Commissioner, Solan, Manmohan Sharma, SP, Solan, Virender Sharma and Press Liaison Officer Hemant Vats was also present on the occasion.

        Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that the relation of neighbors is more than that of friends and both the states will cooperate in keeping it together. He said that a detailed discussion was held on water and electricity; beside talks on some borders and roads. Both the states will get benefit from this discussion, he said, adding that Adi Badri Dam was also discussed in detail on which work would be started soon.

        Apart from this, talks were also held regarding the process of setting up new projects in Himachal Pradesh, on which the Himachal Chief Minister also agreed. He said that both the states will get the benefit of electricity and water.

        Also, discussion was held regarding the recently imposed water generator cess. The Haryana Chief Minister said that the burden of this cess will fall on the people of Haryana. He said that Himachal Pradesh cannot levy any cess on old projects and can levy cess only if the Haryana government agrees to set up a new project.

    The efforts of the anti-social elements who are trying to disrupt the peace and tranquillity of the state cannot succeed in Punjab because the people of Punjab know how to live with mutual brotherhood.  Nefarious attempts to weaken the strong social cohesion among the people of the state can never be accomplished.  These views were expressed by the Cabinet Minister for New and Renewable Energy, Employment Generation, Printing and Stationary, Skill Development and Training Department, Aman Arora while addressing a large gathering at the local Eidgah today on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.          He said that the festival of Eid is a symbol of purity, brotherhood, peace and harmony. Reiterating the commitment to fulfil Bhagwant Singh Mann’s dream of making Punjab “Rangala Punjab”,  Aman Arora congratulated Malerkotla and all the residents of Punjab on this auspicious day and wished for a golden future of Punjab. The Punjab government is making efforts to fulfil every promise made to the people of the state.  He said that the Punjab government will leave no stone unturned for the comprehensive and infrastructural development of Malerkotla.         After the Eid-ul-Fitr prayer,   Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s wife Dr Gurpreet Kaur addressed the Muslim community and congratulated the Muslim community and said that Punjab is known for its brotherhood. Case registered against Bathinda businessman for unauthorized possession of pesticides and fertilizers: Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal

       A case has been registered against a businessman of Bathinda on charges of unauthorized possession of pesticides and fertilizers. Agriculture Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal said that on the directions of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to provide quality pesticides to farmers, Joint Director Agriculture (PP) recently checked 15 warehouses of pesticide companies along with three teams of Bathinda staff.  A case has been registered against Pankaj S/o Kesh Raj Garg for illegally keeping pesticides and fertilizers in a warehouse during checking.          He said that during the checking, a warehouse of T-Stanes and Company Limited was checked at K.C. complex, Sivian Road, Bathinda.  The warehouse was opened by Pankaj, the owner of the warehouse. During the checking, it was found that a large quantity of insecticides and fertilizers of T- Stanes and Co. Ltd. were stored illegally in the warehouse.          Pankaj Kumar has not shown any documents regarding the records of these pesticides and fertilizers. Therefore, Section 13 of Insecticide Act 1968, Section 10, 15 of Rules 1971 and Section 7, 8 of Fertilizer Control Order 1985 and Section 3, 7 of Essential Commodities Act 1955 and IPC 420 were filed against Pankaj. FIR No. 48 dated 20-04-2023 at Thana Thermal Bathinda has been filed.          He farther said that 8 samples of pesticides and 4 samples of fertilizers have been sent from the warehouse for testing and further action is being taken as per the Act. The Agriculture Minister said that no person, trader or company would be spared, who would sell substandard pesticides and fertilizers to farmers.

FDA and police teams raids on Hookah bars and recovered 23 hookahs,

On the directions of Haryana Home and Health Minister, Sh. Anil Vij, teams of Food and Drug Administration Department and police conducted raids on hookah bars in Panchkula last night and recovered items banned under various Acts. In which 23 hookahs, 15 types of molasses containing nicotine and 7 types of herbal molasses were recovered.This information was given to the Home and Health Minister in a review meeting here today.FIR lodged in two hookah barsThe Home Minister was apprised that the teams of Food and Drug Administration Department and Police found molasses containing with nicotine in two hookah-bars during raids. Of these, ten types of molasses containing nicotine were recovered from M/s Alif Laila, SCO-68, Backside Basement, Sector-11, Panchkula. Six hookahs have also been recovered from this hookah-bar and an FIR has been registered at Police Station Sector-5, Panchkula under Poisons Act 1919, Drugs and Cosmetics Act 1940, COTPA Act and IPC.It was informed in the meeting that similarly, 5 types of molasses containing nicotine were also recovered from Hookah Bar of “The White”, “The ALMAS”, SCO-368, 1st Floor, Sector-8, Panchkula. Eleven hookahs have also been recovered from this hookah-bar and an FIR has been registered at Police Station Sector-7, Panchkula under Poisons Act 1919, Drugs and Cosmetics Act 1940, COTPA Act and IPC.Items recovered from three hookah bars, samples takenSimilarly, teams of the Food and Drug Administration Department and the police found herbal molasses in three hookah bars during raids. In these, two types of molasses were recovered from Play-n-Pause, first floor, SCO-349, Sector-9, Panchkula and three hookahs were also recovered. Similarly, three types of molasses were recovered and two hookahs were also recovered from Purple Frog, Sector-9, Panchkula. Likewise, two types of molasses were recovered and one hookah was also recovered from Insane Lounge & Bar, SCO-352, Basement, Sector-9, Panchkula.Various steps have been taken from time to time for the welfare of the youth of the state from drugs – VijSh. Vij said that various steps are being taken from time to time for the welfare of youth of the state.Liver transplant facility will be provided in PGIMS, Rohtak within next one year- VijOn the other hand, Health and Family Welfare Minister Sh. Anil Vij said that on the occasion of World Liver Day, Haryana Government’s health department has decided that liver transplant facility will be provided at PGIMS, Rohtak within one year. A letter has already been written to PGIMS, Rohtak for kidney transplant and preparations are being made for that also. In this regard, today he has directed the Additional Chief Secretaries of Health and Family Welfare Department and Medical Education and Research Department to initiate action regarding the facility of liver transplant so that liver transplant facility is provided to the people within the prescribed time period.Committed to provide better medical facilities to the people of the state- VijSh. Vij said that we are committed to provide better medical facilities to the people of the state and in this direction, efforts are being made to add more facilities to the state. Sh. Vij said that the arrangement of liver transplant and kidney transplant facilities in any institute of the state would be a big achievement. Similarly, he said that in the chain of health facilities in the state, various facilities would soon be available to the patients at PGIMS, Rohtak. He said that the present state government has decided to open a medical college in each district and in view of this, medical colleges should be established at the earliest, the process is being expedited.In the meeting, Sh. Vij also gave various directions to the officers of Police Department and Food and Drug Administration Department.On this occasion Director General of Police Sh. PK Aggarwal, Additional Chief Secretary of Health and Family Welfare Department G. Anupama and Additional Chief Secretary of Medical Education and Research Department Smt.
