Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal informed that ESI Health Care, Haryana is providing comprehensive medical services to 25 lakh insured persons working in organized sectors and their family members through 7 ESI Hospitals (4 ESIS and 3 ESIC), 3 Ayurvedic units, 1 Mobile and 85 Dispensaries across the state.        While apprising about the ESI Health Care facilities to Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Changes and Labour and Employment, Sh. Bhupender Yadav during a meeting of ESI Health Care Haryana here today, Sh. Manohar Lal informed that new dispensaries have been functional at Kurukshetra and Taraori. The dispensary opened at Jhadli will also be functional soon. The Chief Minister expressed gratitude to Sh. Bhupender Yadav and said that the Government has given Administrative Approval for construction of six new 100 bedded ESI Hospitals at Hisar, Rohtak , Sonipat Ambala , Karnal and Panchkula.        Union Minister, Sh. Bhupender Yadav and chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal directed the officers to identify the suitable location and land for setting up ESI hospitals in a time bound manner so as to expedite the construction plan of proposed ESI hospitals in the state.        The Chief Minister further said that Haryana is ahead of all other states which has been possible by strengthening the medical care facilities for the public in the state. He also expressed gratitude on the administrative approval for opening of 14 new ESI dispensaries at Karnal , Rohtak , Jhadli , Ganaur , Mullana , Gharaunda , Farukhnagar , Kosli , Saha , Chhachhrauli , Pataudi , Bhuna , Charkhi Dadri & Uklana Mandi.        It was apprised in the meeting that in-principal approval from ESI Corporation, New Delhi has been received only for ESI dispensaries Rohtak, Pataudi and Jhadli (out of 14). Possession of the Buildings for the ESI Dispensaries Charkhi Dadri , Rohtak and Jhadli has been taken and Dispensaries will be functional soon.        The Chief Minister apprised that Employee State Insurance (ESI), Haryana is a contributory social security scheme for the organized sector covering the units having 10 or more employees drawing pay up to Rs. 21000 -per month. He said that 109 private hospitals have been empanelled for providing medical facilities secondary care services on cashless basis for ESI beneficiaries in the state.        It was apprised in the meeting that land measuring 8.70 acre has been procured by ESIC for new 500 beds ESI Hospital at Manesar and land measuring 18793.27 sq meter (4.64 acre) has been identified and allotment letter has been issued by Haryana Shahari Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP) for expansion of 163 beds to 500 beds ESIC hospital at Gurugram.        The Chief Minister apprised the Union Minister that ESI Dispensary Rai is presently running in the Health department building. The ESI dispensary at Rai to be constructed at Sector 38, Phase II, Industrial Estate, Rai, Sonipat would cater to an IP population of 28010 within its catchment areas of Rai Industrial area, Nathupur, Bazidpur Saboli and parts of Bahalgarh Industrial area.        It was also apprised in the meeting that the concept plan of setting up ESI Dispensary at Barhi, Ganaur Block in Sonipat approved by ESI Corporation would cater to an IP population of 8347 within its catchment areas of Barhi Industrial area, Ganaur and full stretch of NH44 upto Samalakha . If the family members are included, then a total number of 31,720 beneficiaries would benefit from this dispensary.        It was also apprised that Haryana is soon comping up with a world’s largest Aravali Safari Park to be developed at 10,000 acres of land in the state where visitors can enjoy activities such as Safari rides, entertainment zones, eco villages, nature walks, dining and leisure. This park would be completed in comping five years and the work would be done in a phased manner.        Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Sh. V. Umashankar, Additional Chief Secretary, Labour Department, Sh. Raja Sekhar Vundru, Additional Chief Secretary, Forests and Wildlife, Sh. Vineet Garg, Deputy Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Sh. K. Makarand Pandurang and other senior officers were present in the meeting.

On the first day of the Budget session of Haryana Vidhan Sabha which commenced here today, obituary resolutions were passed to pay rich tributes to those prominent personalities who have expired between the period from the end of the previous session and the beginning of the current session.

Leader of the House and Chief Minister, Manohar Lal paid tributes and read out the obituary resolutions. These include Jagdish Nehra, former Minister of Haryana, Ved Pal, former Deputy Speaker of Haryana Legislative Assembly, Dharambir Gaba, former Minister of State, Sh. Bhagwan Sahai Rawat and Chaudhary Balbir Singh Grewal, former Members of Haryana Legislative Assembly.

Haryana Vidhan Sabha Speaker, Gian Chand Gupta also read out the obituary resolutions and paid tributes to the departed souls. The House conveyed its heartfelt condolences to the members of the bereaved families.

Leader of the Opposition, Bhupinder Singh Hooda also read out the obituary resolutions on behalf of his party.

The House also placed on record its deep sense of sorrow on the sad demise of freedom fighter Jagram of village Machhgar, District Faridabad on January 24, 2023. The House bid tearful farewell to 12 brave Martyrs of Haryana who showed indomitable courage and made the supreme sacrifice while safeguarding the unity and integrity of the motherland.

Suresh, Mayor, Maddur Town Municipal Council, from Karnataka alongwith delegation of 28 councillors & 2 officers visited the city beautiful, Chandigarh today.

The delegation was on its study tour regarding Best Practices done by Municipal Corporation Chandigarh.

Today morning their day long sight visit schedule was started with the presentation on the best practices of Municipal Corporation at MCC office premises, Sector 17, Chandigarh. Sh. Gurinder Singh Sodhi and Mrs. Isha Kamboj, Joint Commissioners, welcomed the delegation followed by brief introduction of the projects and best practices and functions of the MCC.

They gave a brief presentation on Solid Waste Management system, Segregation Waste System, Roads, Water Supply, Garden and Green belts, Street Lights, Tertiary Treated Water Supply, processing of C&D Waste, Property Tax, management of Gaushalas, Vendor rehabilitation system and other projects of MCC.

After the presentation meeting, the delegation visited various best projects of MCC including Water Works Sector 39, MRF Station, Solid Waste Management, Legacy Waste Plant and Community Centre, Chandigarh.

During their sight visits, different teams headed by nodal officers of MCC briefed about the projects at their respective sites.

The delegation of Maddur Town Municipal Council praised the beauty of Chandigarh including best roads in the city, neat and clean parks, planned markets and no encroachments in the road sides. They appreciated the horticulture wing especially for maintaining more than 1800 neighborhood parks in the city. They also appreciated the cleanliness of the city and solid waste management system including management of STPs and running of MRF stations in city.

Amidst the sound of 75 conch shells, top educationists of the country launched a campaign of taking national education to a higher level. Their aim is to make India a world leader and to educate every child of the country. The Manthan program was organized today by the National Independent School Alliance (NISA) at Indradhanush Auditorium, Panchkula. Haryana School Education Minister Kanwarpal Gurjar was the chief guest of the programme, while Director of NCERT Prof. Dinesh Saklani and Padma Shri Dr. Bharat Bhushan Tyagi were present as the special guests.

State Education Minister Kanwarpal Gurjar said that he was impressed by the sound of conch shells made from the stage for the betterment of education. This initiative of educationists is commendable. A team of Haryana Government was sent to Scotland for improvement in education. Today, after listening to the words of educationists at the Manthan program, it was felt that sending the team to Scotland was a waste of money and time. Impressed by NISA’s commitment regarding the education policy, the minister assured the school operators that the government would work with them for the betterment of education. After discussion with the Chief Minister, it has been decided that capable private schools should adopt some government schools. The government will extend full cooperation to them in this regard. He also said that the Haryana Government is committed to end the problems of private schools.

NCERT Director Prof. Dinesh Saklani said, “My dream and goal is that every child of the society should be educated. Indian civilization is one of the oldest civilizations in the world. We have a very proud history. On the strength of Vedic civilization and culture, we progressed in the world and were called Vishwa Guru. We have to return to our ancient culture to become Vishwa Guru once again. We have to work fast in the field of education by studying our scriptures and Upanishads.”

Pro. Saklani further said that we are working on the National Education Policy. The biggest need of today’s time is to educate the elders for the betterment of the children. There is a need to do selfless work in the field of education. The nation will be strong only with educated children. Efforts have already started in this direction. Soon the results will start coming.

Bharat Bhushan Tyagi said in his address that a lot of work needs to be done on agriculture and education. Society needs to think that what is the purpose of education? What goal do we want to achieve in education? Whether the child is able to connect with nature along with studies? It is the responsibility of educationists to upgrade education.

NISA President Dr. Kulbhushan Sharma said that the freedom struggle in the country started from Ambala in Haryana. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream is to see India as the Vishwaguru. We are working hard to fulfill PM’s vision. Today the country needs quality education, for which we are making all possible efforts. Children as well as private school teachers are also trained by NISA and scholarships are also provided as per rules.

The program was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by the chief guest. Arjuna Awardee and Billiards Champion Geet Sethi was also present on the occasion. In the cultural programme, children of several schools including Doon Public School enthralled the guests with dance and song presentations. The best performing students were felicitated by the chief guest.

Cultural function, performances and competitions marked the conclusion of the three-day Chandigarh Rose Festival at Rose Garden, Sector 16, Chandigarh with the Adviser to the Administrator Sh. Dharm Pal, IAS distributing various prizes to the winners of all competitions held during the Rose Festival.

Sh. Anup Gupta, Mayor, Chandigarh, Sh. Nitin Kumar Yadav, IAS, Secretary Local Government, Ms. Anindita Mitra, IAS, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Chandigarh, other senior officers and councilors of MCC were also present during the occasion.

The Adviser to the Administrator, Chandigarh was the chief guest on the occasion and distributed prizes to winners of various competitions, participants of cultural events, band parties as well as gardeners. The Adviser lauded the efforts of all the team of officers to make the Rose festival success. Councilors and all senior officers were present during the prize distribution function.

On the occasion of the Rose festival there were so many programs that were performed on the third day.

 The third day was started with yoga session followed by Morning Raga, which is a classical performance by Swar Ragini mestro Pt. Subhash Ghosh ji.

After this various folk dances were also performed by different groups to showcase various cultures of India and performances include Devrath folk dance, Bhangra, kalbelia, ghoomar. After this renowned Magician Pardeep Kumar had performed a very great magic show for everyone and all this performances enthralled the public alot.

And finally very beautiful the light and sound show just melted the hearts of the audience by its attractiveness.

Haryana Association of North America, president, Sh. Rajesh Vashisht paid a courtesy call on Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal, at his residence and apprised about the work being done by the association.

The Chief Minister said that the state government has constituted the Foreign Cooperation Department, to easily provide facilities to the students desirous of going abroad for education and employment. He said that the Haryana Association of North America should cooperate with the Foreign Cooperation Department, create mutual coordination and also guide the children going for education and employment abroad.

Sh. Vashisht expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for organizing Gita Jayanti Mahotsav at the international level. He said that apart from foreign nationals, a large number of overseas Haryanvis participated in the International Gita Mahotsav held in Canada. He also invited the Chief Minister for a visit to Canada.

Bhupender Yadav inaugurated the newly constructed building of Directorate ESI Healthcare Department, Haryana at Sector 14, Panchkula today. With the construction of this building, better administrative facilities will be made available to the insured persons of Haryana as well as the North region.On the occasion, the Chief Minister and the Union Minister also laid the foundation stone of ESI Dispensary at Sonipat’s Rai and Barhi. At present the number of ESI insured persons in Haryana is 25 lakh.Union Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Sh. Rameshwar Teli, Haryana Vidhan Sabha Speaker, Sh. Manohar Lal said that with the opening of the newly constructed regional office of ESI in Panchkula, the administrative activities of ESI insured persons of Haryana as well as Punjab, Himachal and other states, would be carried out smoothly. “Better health facilities are being provided to the beneficiaries through ESI in the state.  Commendable work has been done in this field in Haryana,” he added.He said that earlier work was done separately by ESI and Haryana Health Department, but last year it was decided with mutual consent that besides the insured persons, other people can also get their treatment done in ESI hospitals. Similarly, the insured ESI beneficiaries can also avail the facility of treatment in the hospitals of Haryana Health Department.Health check-ups of all citizens once every two years started under Nirogi Haryana YojanaSh. Manohar Lal said that the year 2023 is being celebrated as ‘Antyodaya Arogya Varsh’ by the state government. “Under the Nirogi Haryana Yojana, health check-ups of all the citizens have been started once every two years; to obtain details regarding their health. Expanding the Ayushman scheme, CHIRAYU Yojana has been implemented under which 29 lakh families with an annual income of upto Rs 1.80 lakh would be given free treatment facility up to Rs 5 lakh in empanelled government and private hospitals,” he said, adding that new categories of beneficiaries would also be included soon under CHIRAYU Haryana Yojana.ESI activities running effectively in Haryana under leadership of Chief MinisterUnion Minister, Sh. Bhupender  Yadav said that under the leadership of Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal, the activities of ESI are being expedited in Haryana. “It is under the leadership of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi, that the BJP government is determined to provide benefits to the last mile person in a time-bound manner,” he added.Expressing gratitude to the Chief Minister, for effectively running the ESI activities in the state, Sh. Bhupender Yadav said that with the construction of the ESI building in Panchkula, the administrative work of the registered persons of ESIC in the North Zone would be better managed.Cath lab facility started for first time in ESIC Medical College, FaridabadUnion Minister, Sh. Bhupender Yadav said that after the establishment of ESI Dispensary in Rai, Sonipat, 1,06,440 beneficiaries including 28,010 insured and their families of industrial area Rai, Nathupur, Wazidpur Saboli, Bahalgarh will be benefited.Similarly, with the formation of ESI Dispensary Barhi, Ganaur, Sonipat, 31,720 beneficiaries including 8,347 insured persons and their families of industrial areas up to Barhi, Ganaur and Samalkha will be covered. “With the cooperation of the Haryana government, the construction work of ESI hospitals in Manesar and Bawal is going on at a fast pace. Apart from this, ESI hospitals will also be set up in Rohtak, Ambala, Sonipat and Hisar,” said the Union Minister.He said that for the first time, the facility of cath lab has also been started in ESIC Medical College, Faridabad last year. Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal and Union Minister, Sh. Bhupender Yadav also visited the health camp set up under the health scheme of ESI and inquired about various health facilities being provided to ESI registered beneficiaries.On the occasion, Municipal Corporation Mayor, Sh.
