NATIONAL FISH FARMERS DAY: FISHERIES FLOURISH IN PUNJAB AS FISH PRODUCTION SOARS TO 2L MT

Making a notable stride in the fish farming sector, Punjab has been producing 2 lakh metric tons (MT) of fish annually from natural waters, private and panchayati ponds, informed S. Gurmeet Singh Khudian, Minister of Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development and Fisheries, on the occasion of National Fish Farmers Day, on Thursday.

Highlighting recent developments in the fisheries sector, S. Gurmeet Singh Khudian stated that Punjab currently has over 43,683 acres dedicated to fish farming and 985 acres to shrimp farming, which is showcasing the state’s growing aquaculture landscape.

He further informed that 16 government fish seed farms, 11 fish feed mills, and 7 laboratories have been actively serving the state farmers to promote fishing sector. Additionally, 637 fish farmer beneficiaries have received financial assistance worth Rs 30.64  crore for fish farming projects including pond construction for fish & shrimp farming, fish feed mills, Recirculatory Aquaculture Systems (RAS), Biofloc-Culture Systems, insulated vehicles, motorcycles & auto-rickshaws with ice boxes, with subsidies ranging from from 40% to 60%.

Apart from this, 8 private fish kiosks have also been set up to facilitate the sale of fish and fish products in a hygienic environment, he added.

Extending warm greetings to the state fish farmers, S. Gurmeet Singh Khudian said that the fisheries sector has been flourishing under the dynamic leadership of the Punjab Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann. These efforts have created vast potential for growth in fish farming and allied industries, with significant scope for development in fish and shrimp processing. This growth will, in turn, generate new employment opportunities to further boost Punjab’s economy.

The Fisheries Minister urged the state’s youth to explore fish farming as a lucrative self-employment opportunity, contributing to the state’s economic growth by embracing this promising venture.

The Group of Ministers (GoM) constituted for ensuring the seamless and hassle free procurement of Wheat and Paddy today held a comprehensive meeting with the rice Millers of Punjab with a view to allay their concerns and give a patient hearing to their issues.

The Chairman of the Group of Ministers,

Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister S. Gurmeet Singh Khudian stated that the Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann led Punjab Government is proactively making comprehensive arrangements to ensure a seamless Kharif procurement season. As sowing has commenced, the state administration is working diligently to address the concerns and demands of millers and other stakeholders, while taking into account their requirements and demands to facilitate a smooth procurement operations in the state.

The Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister Mr. Lal Chand Kataruchak during interaction with the mediapersons said that the millers are appreciative of the fact that the State Government has begun preparations many months in advance about upcoming Paddy procurement season. He also stated that the Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is painstakingly working to resolve all the issues pertaining to the millers and is scheduled to meet the Union Minister Pralhad Joshi in New Delhi over the matters which are in the domain of the Union Government.

Assuring all the stakeholders viz. Farmers, Rice Millers, Arhtiyas and the Labourers of protecting their interests, the Minister divulged that the Punjab Government is committed to fulfill their justified demands. On the movement of foodgrains from the State to ensure storage space, Mr. Kataruchak added that till now, 105 Lakh Metric Tonnes (LMT) of foodgrains has been moved out.

The Transport and Jails Minister Mr. Laljit Singh Bhullar assured that the Punjab Government said that the rice millers form the backbone of the procurement process and the State Government is formulating every step taking their welfare into active consideration. The Water Resources Minister Mr. Barinder Kumar Goyal said that the Punjab Government stands shoulder to shoulder with all the stakeholders in their every hour of need and views them as active partners not just in the procurement process but in the overall development of Punjab.

Among others present on the occasion included the Principal Secretary Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Rahul Tiwari, Director Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Varinder Kumar Sharma, Secretary Punjab Mandi Board Ramvir, MD PUNSUP Sonali Giri besides representatives of the rice millers.

पोषण ट्रैकर समीक्षा बैठक में जिलाधिकारी ने अधिकारियों को दिए निर्देश

जिले में कुपोषण की स्थिति सुधारने पर दिया जोर

जिलाधिकारी  संदीप तिवारी की अध्यक्षता में पोषण ट्रैकर ऐप की प्रगति हेतु जिलाधिकारी वीसी कक्ष में समीक्षा बैठक आयोजित की गई। बैठक में जिले में चिन्हित कुपोषित एवं अति कुपोषित बच्चों की संख्या, स्वास्थ्य स्थिति तथा सुधार के प्रयासों पर विस्तृत चर्चा की गई।

जिलाधिकारी ने निर्देश दिए कि सभी सीडीपीओ यह सुनिश्चित करें कि आंगनबाड़ी केंद्रों में वितरित किए जा रहे संपूरक पोषण आहार की गुणवत्ता व मात्रा मानक अनुसार हो। उन्होंने कहा बाल विकास परियोजना अधिकारी स्वयं क्षेत्र भ्रमण कर आँगनबाड़ी केंद्रों की भौतिक स्थिति, कार्य संचालन, उपस्थिति रजिस्टर व गतिविधियों की निगरानी करें।

उन्होंने निर्देश दिए कि जिले के सभी आंगनबाड़ी केंद्रों में बच्चों के वजन व ऊंचाई की नियमित माप,  संपूरक पोषण और आहार की गुणवत्ता की निरंतर निगरानी की जाए। इस दौरान सीडीपीओ जोशीमठ अभिजीत कुमार को मीटिंग में आवश्यक जानकारी न देने पर नाराजगी व्यक्त की और मीटिंग में पूर्ण तैयारी के साथ बैठने के निर्देश दिए।

जिलाधिकारी द्वारा  निर्देश दिए गए कि सभी आँगनबाड़ी केंद्रों द्वारा पोषण ट्रैकर पोर्टल पर  बच्चों, गर्भवती महिलाओं एवं धात्री माताओं का डेटा समयबद्ध रूप से अपलोड किया जाए।उन्होंने कहा चिन्हित कुपोषित  व अति कुपोषित बच्चों की समीक्षा की जाए तथा स्वास्थ्य विभाग के सहयोग से नियमित स्वास्थ्य परीक्षण व फॉलोअप सुनिश्चित किया जाए।

 जिला कार्यक्रम अधिकारी हिमांशु बडोला द्वारा अवगत कराया गया कि पोषण ट्रैकर पोर्टल के माध्यम से जिले में कुल 17234 बच्चों को ट्रैक किया जा रहा है, जिनमें से  जून माह में 186 बच्चे कुपोषित तथा 45 अति कुपोषित की श्रेणी में चिन्हित किए गए हैं। उन्होंने बताया इन बच्चों को संपूरक पोषण आहार, नियमित स्वास्थ्य परीक्षण एवं विशेष देखरेख के माध्यम से पोषण स्तर सुधारने का प्रयास किया जा रहा है।

बैठक में मुख्य विकास अधिकारी अभिषेक त्रिपाठी ,सभी बाल विकास परियोजना अधिकारी वी सी के माध्यम से उपस्थित रहे।

हरियाणा विधान सभा अध्यक्ष हरविन्द्र कल्याण ने कहा है कि गुरुग्राम में संपन्न हुए शहरी स्थानीय निकायों के राष्ट्रीय सम्मेलन का मुख्य उद्देश्य 2047 तक विकसित भारत की संकल्पना में शहरी स्थानीय निकायों की भूमिका को रेखांकित करना था। यह सम्मेलन छोटी विधायी संस्थाओं में जिम्मेदारी से संवाद का भाव पैदा करते हुए प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के ‘विकसित भारत 2047’ के स्वप्न को पूरा करेगा। सम्मेलन में शहरी नियोजन और विकास से जुड़े विशेषज्ञ, नीति निर्माता शामिल रहे। इसके चलते यह सम्मेलन वरिष्ठ जनप्रतिनिधियों और विशेषज्ञों के प्रत्यक्ष संवाद का मंच बना। कल्याण बुधवार को चंडीगढ़ के सेक्टर 3 स्थित हरियाणा निवास में प्रेस वार्ता को संबोधित कर रहे थे।

कल्याण ने कहा कि सम्मेलन के दौरान शहरी निकाय प्रशासन को नवाचार, पारदर्शिता और जनसहभागिता को प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए एआई तकनीक आधारित प्रौद्योगिकी को बढ़ावा देने का संकल्प दोहराया गया। इस प्रकार यह सम्मेलन देश के लोकतांत्रिक ढांचे को और मजबूत करने की दिशा में एक ऐतिहासिक कदम रहा। इस वर्ष पटना में आयोजित पीठासीन अधिकारियों के अखिल भारतीय सम्मेलन में भी इस विषय पर प्रस्ताव पारित किया गया था।

विस अध्यक्ष हरविन्द्र कल्याण ने कहा कि देश के पहले राष्ट्रीय सम्मेलन में अनेक नगर निगमों, नगर परिषदों और नगरपालिकाओं के अध्यक्षों और अधिकारियों ने अपने-अपने क्षेत्रों में अपनाए गए सर्वश्रेष्ठ विकास मॉडल और नवाचारों को साझा किया। इंदौर, लखनऊ, पुणे, सूरत और विशाखापत्तनम के महापौर/नगर आयुक्तों ने स्वच्छ और हरित शहरों से संबंधित उत्कृष्ट कार्यों और सफलताओं पर प्रस्तुति दीं। उनकी प्रस्तुतियां प्रतिभागियों के लिए सहायक सिद्ध होगी।

कल्याण ने कहा कि इस सम्मेलन से प्रेरणा लेकर पंचायती राज संस्थाओं, सहकारी संस्थाओं, महिला नेतृत्व, और युवा सहभागिता पर आधारित विशेष सम्मेलन आयोजित करने की भी योजना है। इस प्रयास से ग्राम से लेकर शहर तक प्रशासनिक व लोकतांत्रिक चेतना को गति मिलेगी। इस बात पर जोर दिया गया कि शहरी स्थानीय निकाय आम लोगों की भागीदारी के साथ विकास कार्यों को जोड़कर जन आंदोलन के रूप में आगे बढ़ सकते हैं। सम्मेलन में सुझाव आया कि शहरी निकायों में स्पीकर जैसे पद का सृजन होना चाहिए, ताकि सभी फैसले निष्पक्ष रूप से हों। मध्य प्रदेश में इस प्रकार की पहल हो चुकी है।

कल्याण ने कहा कि 3 जुलाई की शाम को हरियाणा कला एवं सांस्कृतिक कार्य विभाग की ओर से गंधर्व वाद्य संगीत, हरियाणवी लोक नृत्य और ‘भारत के रंग’ विषय पर सांस्कृतिक प्रस्तुतियों ने प्रतिभागियों को सांस्कृतिक गहराई से जोड़ा। सम्मेलन परिसर में स्थापित की गई मेमोरी वॉलपरअनेक विशिष्ट अतिथियों ने अपने अनुभव सांझा किए। उन्होंने कहा कि कार्यक्रम के संपन्न होने के बाद सभी प्रतिनिधियों ने नई दिल्ली पहुंच नई और पुरानी संसद का भ्रमण किया। इस दौरान सभी प्रतिभागियों ने म्यूजियम देखा और सेंट्रल हॉल में लोक सभा के माननीय अध्यक्ष ओम बिरला से सीधा संवाद किया। केंद्रीय कक्ष में सभी प्रदेशों के प्रतिनिधियों ने ओम बिरला की उपस्थिति में हरियाणा की ओर से किए गए प्रबंधों की प्रशंसा की।

उन्होंने कहा कि लोक सभा की ओर से इस सम्मेलन की मेजबानी मिलना हरियाणा विधान सभा के लिए गौरव का विषय है। इसके लिए उन्होंने लोक सभा अध्यक्ष ओम बिरला का आभार व्यक्त किया। यह सम्मेलन राज्य सरकार और जिला प्रशासन के पूर्ण सहयोग से सफल हुआ। सम्मेलन को लेकर सभी व्यवस्थाएं चाक-चौबंद करने के लिए उन्होंने मुख्यमंत्री नायब सिंह सैनी और सभी अधिकारियों-कर्मचारियों के प्रति भी आभार प्रकट किया। उन्होंने कहा कि सम्मेलन की व्यवस्थाओं को लेकर लोक सभा के केंद्रीय कक्ष में बड़ी संख्या में खुले दिल से प्रशंसा की गई है।

Fortis Hospital Mohali Saves Life of 80-year-old chronic kidney disease patient

Panchkula, July 9, 2025: Doctors at Fortis Hospital, Mohali successfully performed a complex coronary angioplasty on an 80-year-old man with chronic kidney disease (CKD), using Ultra-Low Contrast Angioplasty with Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS) guidance, a cutting-edge technique that minimizes the risk of kidney injury. The procedure was led by Dr Sudhanshu Budakoty, Senior Consultant – Cardiology, Fortis Hospital, Mohali who opted for the advanced techniqueto ensure precision and safety. The patient was discharged in a stable condition within two days.

Patient from Solan was already battling CKD from 5 years and when he visited Fortis Hospital , he was presented with high creatinine levels, severe chest pain, breathlessness and coronary artery disease. He was at an extremely high risk for conventional angioplasty, which involves the use of contrast dye to visualize the blood vessels during the procedure and that has the chances of damaging the kidney function.

Whereas, the advanced ultra-low contrast technique combined with IVUS imaging is a minimally invasive approach that allows doctors to accurately diagnose and treat blockages. In this procedure, a very minimal contrast dye is used, thereby avoiding the risk of further kidney damage or dialysis.

Speaking about the procedure in the press conference, Dr Budakoty said, “This patient had significant coronary artery disease, but being a CKD patient, conventional angioplasty posed a high risk of worsening his kidney function. Using IVUS, we could clearly assess the vessel size, lesion characteristics, stent placement and expansion, all while minimizing contrast use. This ensured an excellent outcome without compromising kidney health.”

He added that advanced imaging modalities like IVUS and Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) are routinely used at Fortis Mohali to treat high-risk cardiac patients who were earlier considered unfit for angioplasty.

“These technologies help us achieve superior outcomes by guiding us through complex cases, even in patients with severe comorbidities like CKD. At Fortis Mohali, we remain committed to offering evidence-based, innovative cardiac care to every patient,” he said.

IVUS (Intravascular Ultrasound) uses sound waves to visualize blood vessels from inside, allowing precise measurement of blockages and optimal stent deployment. सीएम धामी ने कहा कि जबरन धर्मान्तरण व डेमोग्राफ़िक चेंज पर हमारी सरकार के प्रयासों के साथ जन सहयोग एवं कानूनी रूप से शिकायत हेतु जन जागरूकता भी आवश्यक है। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि हमारी सरकार ने सख्त दंगा विरोधी कानून लागू करने के साथ, भूमि अतिक्रमण के खिलाफ कड़ी कार्यवाही व यूसीसी जैसा साहसिक कदम उठाये लेकिन सरकार के इन साहसिक प्रयासों के प्रभावी क्रियान्वयन हेतु व्यापक जनसहयोग की अपेक्षा है।

मुख्यमंत्री श्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने गढ़ी कैंट, देहरादून में आयोजित “ विकसित भारत @2047 सामूहिक संवाद- पूर्व सैनिकों के साथ“ कार्यक्रम में प्रतिभाग किया। कार्यक्रम के दौरान मुख्यमंत्री ने राज्य के सम्रग विकास के लिए उपस्थित भूतपूर्व सैनिकों से बातचीत की एवं उनके सुझाव लिये।

मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि वन विभाग को हर डिवीज़न मे 1000 पेड़ लगाने के निर्देश दिए गए हैं। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि कुछ समय पूर्व  प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी जी ने देश में ‘’एक पेड़ अपनी मां के नाम’’ अभियान की शुरुआत की है। आज के इस अवसर पर मैं, आप सभी से इस अभियान में भागेदारी निभाने का आह्वान करता हूं क्योंकि आप सभी राष्ट्र-प्रहरी होने के साथ – साथ हमारे पर्यावरण के भी रक्षक हैं। आप जहां भी पेड़ लगाएंगे उसके फलने फूलने की गारंटी भी सदा रहेगी, क्योंकि आप एक सैनिक होने के नाते हमेशा उसका ख्याल भी रखेंगे।

मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि राज्य में गत दो माह में आने वाले पर्यटकों की संख्या 38 लाख से अधिक हो गई हैं। प्रधानमंत्री जी के प्रयासों व सहयोग से राज्य में शीतकालीन यात्रा एवं आदि कैलाश यात्रा को नई गति मिली है। राज्य में बेरोजगारी दर 4.2 से कम हो गई है जो राष्ट्रीय औसत से कम है। मानसरोवर यात्रा का समय 7 दिन कम हो चुका है।

सैनिको एवं उनके परिजनों के हित हमारी सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकता- मुख्यमंत्री

मुख्यमंत्री श्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कार्यक्रम में उपस्थित समस्त पूर्व सैनिकों का स्वागत एवं अभिनंदन करते हुए कहा कि सैनिको ने वीरता, शौर्य और समर्पण के साथ देश की रक्षा करते हुए अपने जीवन का महत्वपूर्ण कालखंड बिताया है। सैनिको ने कश्मीर से लेकर कन्याकुमारी तक और कच्छ से लेकर अरुणाचल प्रदेश तक हर मोर्चे पर तिरंगे के गौरव और मान को बढ़ाने का कार्य किया है।

मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि हमारा प्रदेश देवभूमि के साथ साथ वीरभूमि भी है, क्योंकि हमारे प्रदेश का लगभग हर परिवार सेना से जुड़ा हुआ है। इतिहास इस बात का साक्षी है कि हमारे वीर सपूतों ने मातृभूमि की रक्षा के लिए अपने प्राणों की आहुति देने में कभी कोई कसर नहीं छोड़ी।

मुख्यमंत्री श्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कहा कि मैं, स्वयं भी एक फौजी का बेटा हूं ,मैंने पूर्व सैनिकों एवं उनके परिवार की समस्याओं और चुनौतियों को नजदीक से देखा और समझा है। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि उनके हृदय में हमेशा शहीदों और उनके परिवारों के प्रति गहरी संवेदनशीलता और समर्पण का भाव रहता है। इसलिए हमने ये प्रयास किया है कि यही भाव हमारी सरकार के काम में भी दिखे।

Punjab State Cooperative Bank carries out tree-plantation drive in Mohali in collaboration with Eco Plantation Association

The Punjab State Cooperative Bank carried out tree-plantation drive in association with the Eco Plantation Association, Mohali on Saturday. This activity is carried out as a part of the Campaign ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ in connection with celebration of International Year of Cooperative (IYC) 2025.

On this occasion, trees were planted on road berms of newly developed Purab Apartment Chownk, Sector-78, Mohali. Chairman and Managing Director along-with staff of the bank participated in the event and planted trees with the help of Eco Plantation Association.

The Chairman of the bank S. Jagdev Singh Bam while speaking on the occasion, said that the Eco Plantation Association is doing a wonderful work to protect the environment and to make the city green. He further said that The Punjab State Cooperative Bank felt privileged to be a part of this noble cause. The Eco Plantation Association was also honoured by the Chairman with a momento for their matchless efforts in saving the environment.

The Managing Director S. Harjeet Singh Sandhu (PCS) of the bank while speaking on this occasion has stressed on the importance of saving Mother Earth for future generations. He shared the environmental issues faced by the world due to pollution and ever-decreasing green cover. He also said that the Earth is around five hundred million years old and the degradation of the environment occurred in the last 100 to 200 years is much more than what this Earth has undergone during five hundred million years. He assured the Eco Plantation Association of all possible help in their endeavour to protect the environment. The members of the association thanked the entire team of the bank for its sincere and whole-hearted participation in the tree plantation drive for the sake of the environment.

मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने शुक्रवार को ऋषिकुल मैदान हरिद्वार में आयोजित विकास संकल्प पर्व में प्रतिभाग कर 550 करोड़ की 107 विभिन्न योजनाओं का लोकार्पण एवं शिलान्यास किया।

इस अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि लालढांग में सिंचाई सुविधा हेतु झील का निर्माण, लालढांग पीएचसी का उच्चीकरण कर सीएचसी बनाए जाने, भगवानपुर से इकबालपुर तक सड़क का चौड़ीकरण, भगवानपुर से सिकरौदा तक सड़क निर्माण, निरंजनपुर में डिग्री कालेज का निर्माण किए जाने, मुबारकपुर-अलीपुर में हाईस्कूल का उच्चीकरण किए जाने, मोहम्मदपुर जटगांव में रजवाहे के दोनों ओर पटरी पर सीसी सड़क का निर्माण किए जाने, विधान सभा झबरेड़ा के अन्तर्गत रुड़की नगर निगम वार्ड न0 22 व 23 में पानी निकासी व सड़क निर्माण किए जाने, खानपुर में ढाडेकी के सौलानी नदी पर पुल निर्माण किए जाने, गिद्धावाली में गंगा नदी घाट पर पुल निर्माण, नागड पलोनी से रांगढ वाला होते हुए भगवानपुर के पास तक मोटर रोड का निर्माण, मेवड नागड के शमशान घाट में बाउण्डरी वाल निर्माण किए जाने के साथ, मोहम्मदपुर पाण्डा के अन्तर्गत बाउण्डरी वाल निर्माण किए जाने की घोषणा की।

मुख्यमंत्री द्वारा एनआरएलएम के अन्तर्गत लक्ष्मी स्वयं सहायता समूह को 2 लाख रूपये, उद्यान विभाग द्वारा दरम्यान सिंह को 50 हजार रूपये, ग्रामोत्थान परियोजनान्तर्गत उजाला सीएलएफ को 21 लाख रूपये, आस्था सीएलएफ को 6 लाख रूपये, मत्स्य विभाग द्वारा अजीत कौर को 4 लाख 20 हजार रूपये, कृषि विभाग द्वारा तरुण सिंह अध्यक्ष वर्क कृषि उत्पादन एवं विपणन स्वयं सहायता समूह को 10 लाख, पशुपालन विभाग द्वारा मीनाक्षी देवी को 30 लाख रूपये, बाल विकास विभाग द्वारा चंचल तोमर को 51 हजार रूपये, सहकारिता विभाग द्वारा आकाश कश्यप को 1 लाख 60 हजार रूपये प्रदान करने के साथ ही सुश्री मीना को पीएम आवास योजनान्तर्गत आवास की चाबी सौंपी गई।

मुख्यमंत्री श्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कहा कि क्षेत्र के विकास हेतु की गई ये सभी घोषणाएं, लोकार्पण, शिलान्यास की परियोजनाएँ न केवल हरिद्वार जनपद में आधारभूत सुविधाओं को सशक्त बनाने में सहायक सिद्ध होंगी, बल्कि नागरिकों को बेहतर सुविधाएं उपलब्ध कराने के साथ ही क्षेत्र के विकास को भी नई गति प्रदान करेंगी।

मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि आज का दिन विशेष है क्योंकि आज ही के दिन 04 जुलाई 2021 को उन्हें देवभूमि उत्तराखण्ड की सेवा करने का मौका दिया गया था। उन्होंने कहा कि वे सबसे पहले मां गंगा का आशीर्वाद लेकर जनमानस के बीच आए हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि वे आज प्रदेश के समग्र विकास और जन आकांक्षाओं को पूरा करने के अपने “विकल्प रहित संकल्प” को पूर्ण करने की इस यात्रा के सफल चार वर्ष पूर्ण कर रहे हैं। उन्होंने सफल चार वर्ष पूर्ण होने पर देवभूमि उत्तराखंड की समस्त देवतुल्य जनता कस हृदयतल से आभार व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि जनता द्वारा जताये गए भरोसे के बल पर ही वे आज उत्तराखंड के मुख्य सेवक के रूप में प्रदेश की सेवा कर पा रहे हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि जनता का प्रेम ही है जो उन्हें प्रत्येक दिन प्रदेश के विकास और समाज की प्रगति हेतु समर्पित भाव से कार्य करने की ऊर्जा प्रदान करता है।

उन्होंने कहा कि राज्य सरकार प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी जी से प्रेरणा लेकर गांवों से लेकर शहरों तक, किसानों से लेकर युवाओं तक, मातृशक्ति से लेकर श्रमशक्ति तक, व्यापारियों से लेकर कमचारियों तक प्रत्येक क्षेत्र और वर्ग के कल्याण के लिए कई नई योजनाएं बनाईं हैं और उन्हें धरातल पर भी उतारा है। होम स्टे योजना, लखपति दीदी योजना और सौर स्वरोजगार योजना जैसी अनेकों योजनाएं लागू कर स्वरोजगार को भी बढ़ावा दिया जा रहा है, जिसका परिणाम है कि नीति आयोग द्वारा जारी सतत् विकास के लक्ष्यों को प्राप्त करने के इंडेक्स में हमारे उत्तराखंड को देश में प्रथम स्थान प्राप्त हुआ है। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रदेश की बेरोजगारी दर में रिकॉर्ड 4.4 प्रतिशत की कमी लाकर राष्ट्रीय औसत को भी पीछे छोड़ने का काम किया है।उन्होंने कहा कि राज्य सरकार ने राज्य में सरकारी नौकरियों में महिलाओं को 30 प्रतिशत आरक्षण देने के साथ ही ‘मुख्यमंत्री नारी सशक्तिकरण योजना‘, मुख्यमंत्री महालक्ष्मी योजना, मुख्यमंत्री वात्सल्य योजना, मुख्यमंत्री आँचल अमृत योजना और पोषण अभियान जैसी योजनाएं प्रारंभ की हैं।

उन्होंने कहा कि हरिद्वार जनपद में भी अनेकों विकास परियोजनाओं पर कार्य किया जा रहा है। धर्मनगरी हरिद्वार को भी काशी विश्वनाथ एवं उज्जैन महाकाल कॉरिडोर की भांति भव्य और दिव्य रूप देने के लिए हरिद्वार-ऋषिकेश कॉरिडोर का निर्माण किया जा रहा है। हरिद्वार में हेली सेवाओं के लिए हेलीपोर्ट का निर्माण करने के साथ ही नगर को जाम की समस्या से मुक्ति दिलाने हेतु पॉड टैक्सी के संचालन की कार्ययोजना भी तैयार की जा रही है। हरकी पैड़ी से मां चंडी देवी और मां मनसा देवी तक रोपवे के निर्माण को हरी झंडी देना हो या लालढ़ांग की बरसाती नदी में पुल के निर्माण के साथ ही झूला पुल बनाने की दिशा में कार्य किया जा रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि हम देवनगरी हरिद्वार को विश्वस्तरीय नगरी बनाने के लिए हर संभव प्रयास कर रहे हैं।

उन्होंने कहा कि देवनगरी हरिद्वार  के लिए कावड़ यात्रा और कुंभ का आयोजन अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण आयोजन है। कांवड़ यात्रा और वर्ष 2027 में होने वाला कुंभ का आयोजन भव्य,दिव्य,सुरक्षित और ऐतिहासिक हो। इसके लिए हम सभी जरूरी इंतजाम करने के लिए संकल्पित हैं।

उन्होंने कहा कि राज्य के समग्र विकास के साथ-साथ अपने सांस्कृतिक मूल्यों और डेमोग्राफी को संरक्षित रखने हेतु भी हम पूर्ण रूप से संकल्पबद्ध है। हमने प्रदेश में एक ओर जहां धर्मांतरण विरोधी और सख्त दंगारोधी कानूनों को लागू किया है वहीं अतिक्रमणकारियों के खिलाफ भी कड़ी कार्रवाई की है। उन्होंने कहा कि जहां एक ओर राज्य में समान नागरिक संहिता कानून लागू कर सभी नागरिकों के लिए एक समान कानून की स्थापना की है। वहीं, युवाओं के भविष्य के साथ खिलवाड़ करने वालों पर अंकुश लगाने हेतु प्रदेश में सख्त नकल विरोधी कानून भी लागू किया है, जिसके परिणामस्वरूप आज राज्य के 23 हजार से अधिक युवाओं को बिना किसी नकल के सरकारी नौकरी प्राप्त करने में सफलता प्राप्त हुई है।

मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कहा कि राज्य से भ्रष्टाचार को समाप्त करने के लिए ‘’ज़ीरो टॉलरेंस’’ की नीति के साथ संकल्पित होकर कार्य कर रहे हैं। पिछले साढ़े तीन वर्षों में भ्रष्टाचार में लिप्त 200 से अधिक लोगों को जेल की सलाखों के पीछे पहुँचाने का काम भी किया है। मुख्यमंत्री ने मां गंगा के तट से स्पष्ट सन्देश दिया कि भ्रष्टाचारी जेल जाने के लिए तैयार रहें।

मुख्यमंत्री श्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कहा कि देश के साथ-साथ उत्तराखंड भी स्पष्ट नीति एवं विजन के साथ आगे बढ़ रहा है, जहां ‘विकास’ प्राथमिकता है, ‘ईमानदारी’ पहचान है, और ‘सेवा’ संकल्प है। उन्होंने कहा कि राज्य सरकार देवभूमि उत्तराखंड को देश का श्रेष्ठ राज्य बनाने के अपने ’‘विकल्प रहित संकल्प’’ के साथ निरंतर कार्य कर रही है। उन्होंने विश्वास व्यक्त किया कि सभी के सहयोग से उत्तराखण्ड़ को सर्वश्रेष्ठ राज्य बनाने का हमारा संकल्प अवश्य सिद्ध होगा।

इस अवसर पर राज्यसभा सांसद एवं बीजेपी प्रदेश अध्यक्ष महेन्द्र भट्ट, सांसद कल्पना सैनी, डॉ.नरेश बंसल, विधायक मदन कौशिक, आदेश चौहान, पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री डॉ.रमेश पोखरियाल निशंक द्वारा भी जनता को सम्बोधित करते हुए अपने-अपने विचार व्यक्त किये गये।

DR. BALJIT KAUR’S TIMELY INTERVENTION PREVENTS CHILD MARRIAGE IN SBS NAGAR

The Punjab Government, under the leadership of Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, remains fully committed to making the state free from the social evil of child marriage and continues to take firm, effective steps in this direction. In one such instance, the timely intervention of Social Security, Women and Child Development Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur led to the prevention of a child marriage involving a 15-year-old girl in Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar district.

Sharing details of the case, Dr. Baljit Kaur revealed that a few months ago, a minor girl made a distress call to the 112 emergency helpline from a beauty parlour, pleading for help to prevent her impending marriage. Acting swiftly, the Deputy Superintendent of Police (Crimes Against Women and Children) immediately alerted the District Child Protection Unit (DCPU).

Following an inquiry, it was found that the girl’s parents, citing her lack of interest in studies and family circumstances, were attempting to marry her off at just 15 years of age. Social pressures and concerns over family honour had also influenced their decision.

Dr. Baljit Kaur informed that a joint team comprising officials from the District Child Protection Unit, Child Development Project Officer, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, and Station House Officer reached the marriage venue without delay and successfully rescued the minor girl before the ceremony could take place. The groom’s family was also made aware of the legal implications and grave consequences of child marriage. In the presence of village representatives, including the Sarpanch, both families provided written consent to cancel the marriage.

Commending the prompt and coordinated response of the district team, Dr. Baljit Kaur stated that this case stands as a clear demonstration of the Punjab Government’s zero-tolerance policy towards child protection violations. She reaffirmed that the Mann Government is steadfast in creating a safe and empowering environment for every girl child in the state.

The Minister further informed that the girl was presented before the Child Welfare Committee (CWC), which, considering the risk of repeat attempts, ordered her immediate placement in a Children’s Home in Jalandhar. She was later reunited with her family and, since she expressed no interest in continuing formal education, has been enrolled in vocational training to help secure her future.

Dr. Baljit Kaur earnestly appealed to social welfare organizations, village Sarpanches/Panches, and the general public to promptly report any instances of child marriage by calling the Child Helpline at 1098. She assured that the identity of the informant would be kept strictly confidential, and the government would take swift action to safeguard the rights and futures of vulnerable children.

Tehsildar Manjeet Malik from Guhla suspended after irregularities surface

Chandigarh, July 3 –  Haryana Urban Local Bodies Minister, Sh. Vipul Goel, in a strong move against corruption has directed the suspension of Tehsildar Manjeet Malik from Guhla. Acting under the leadership of Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, this decision reflects the Haryana government’s strict stance and zero-tolerance policy towards corruption.

Sh. Vipul Goel said that the government aims to ensure a clean and transparent administration. He said there is no place for corrupt officers in Haryana. We are working to create a system where no common citizen has to face harassment or injustice. Our goal is to build a responsible and transparent governance model, said the Minister.

He said that Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini has always been clear in his intention that every part of the governance must work with honesty. As part of that commitment, Tehsildar Manjeet Malik has been suspended. According to the official order, during the suspension period, Manjeet Malik will be stationed at the Ambala Deputy Commissioner’s office, where his attendance and accountability will be monitored.

Sh. Goel said that, whoever believes they can misuse their position and escape the system should take this action as a clear message. Misuse of power will not be tolerated, and we will protect the rights of the people at all costs.
