Netflix’s Wild Wild Punjab takes Chandigarh by Storm

The vibrant city of Chandigarh experienced an electrifying buzz as the cast of Netflix’s much-anticipated comedy caper, Wild Wild Punjab, visited the city. Buckle your seatbelts for an unforgettable journey full of bromance and madness with the cast – Varun Sharma, Sunny Singh, Manjot Singh, Jassie Gill, Patralekhaa, and Ishita Raj who painted the town red while they were here. Presented by Gulshan Kumar and Bhushan Kumar, Wild Wild Punjab is a Luv Films Production, directed by Simarpreet Singh and produced by Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg. The film is all set to premiere on July 10, only on Netflix.

With a vibe that suggests dosti (friendship) heals all heartbreaks, this film is a must-watch for every dil-toota aashiq (heart-broken lover). Khanne (Varun Sharma) has had a breakup. He’s upset and determined to confront his ex at her wedding in front of her family, notwithstanding the groom or the baraatis (wedding procession), to say four magical words: “I am over you!”. Egging him on and up for some fun, his motley crew of friends Arore (Sunny Singh), Jainu (Jassie Gill) and Honey Paaji (Manjot Singh) encourage him to face this breakup head-on and move on! Radha (Patralekhaa) and Meera (Ishita Raj) join them on this adventure across the vibrant yet chaotic world of Punjab to help Khanne find closure. Will they succeed?

The cast along with the director shared some insights into the film and the characters building the anticipation further. Grooving to the recently released song – Husn Irani being appreciated by many, the cast grooved to it across the promotions in Chandigarh. With the backdrop of the film as vibrant as Punjab, the entire team of Wild Wild Punjab enjoyed a homecoming of sorts, fostering a special connection between the film, its stars, the press and fans!

4000 करोड़ की पंजाबी फिल्म इंडस्ट्री में ट्राइसिटी व हरियाणा के  टैलेंटेड  युवाओं  को  फिल्मों में काम के लिए प्लेटफार्म प्रदान करने के उद्देश्य से हाई टेक मिट्स   एंटरटेनमेंट  एंड  डिजिटेक पंचकूला में लांच ।

हाल ही में उच्चा पिंड फ़िल्म व अफसाना खान के गाने पर जबरदस्त परफॉर्मेंस देने वाली एक्ट्रेस पूनम सूद ने कहा कि हमारे क्षेत्र में प्रतिभाओं की कमी नहीं है लेकिन मुंबई जाकर स्ट्रगल करने की क्षमता सभी युवाओं में नहीं होती खासकर लड़कियों में ;  उनके लिए एमके भाटिया का यह प्रयास सराहनीय है और ऐसे प्रयासों की ट्राइसिटी को बहुत ज्यादा आवश्यकता काफी समय से थी । 

मिट्स एंटरटेनमेंट व डिजिटेक के फाउंडर डायरेक्टर एमके भाटिया ने कहा कि फार्मा इंडस्ट्री में ट्राइसिटी के युवा ब्रिगेड के साथ पिछले 10 वर्षों से हिट पारी खेलने के बाद अब वह एंटरटेनमेंट व  डिजिटल वर्ल्ड में पदार्पण करने जा रहे हैं । भाटिया  का कहना है कि वह शुरू से युवाओं की प्रतिभाओं के कायल रहे हैं व  जैसे वह अपनी हर कंपनी में उन्हें भागीदारी देकर उनके साथ  कंधे से कंधा मिलाकर चलते हैं वैसे ही एंटरटेनमेंट इंडस्ट्री में भी युवाओं की भागीदारी खास रहेगी । 

चंडीगढ़ में लगभग सात साल पहले 2004 में भी  फिल्म सिटी की परियोजना बनी थी और विवादों में घिरी यह परियोजना के रद होने के कारण 2014 में भी  प्रशासन के अधिकारी शहर में फिल्म सिटी के लिए सांसद के आग्रह को न स्वीकार कर पाये। 

भाटिया दरअसल चंडीगढ़ के शहर के युवाओं को लेकर फिल्म सिटी का सपना संजोए बैठे हैं और वह चाहते हैं कि मुंबई जाकर स्ट्रगल करने की बजाय चंडीगढ़ के युवाओं को यही फिल्मों का पूरा प्रोफेशनल माहौल मिले और युवा यहीं पर अपना सफल करियर बनाएं ।

भाटिया ने कहा कि उन्होंने हरियाणा के सी एम व चंडीगढ़ के प्रशासक के सलाहकार को भी फ़िल्म सिटी व सिंगल विंडो क्लीयरेंस के लिये ज्ञापन सौंपा है । चंडीगढ़ में रंगमंच का कल्चर पिछले 60 सालों से है लेकिन इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर की कमी की वजह से यहां के बेहतरीन लाजवाब एक्टर की मुंबई में स्ट्रगल कर अपने करियर् को दिशा नहीं दे पाते हैं इसीलिए उन्होंने  एंटरटेनमेंट कंपनी की नींव रखी है , वह चाहते हैं कि सिंगल विंडो क्लीयरेंस हरियाणा  चंडीगढ़ व  पंजाब में निर्माताओं को मिले ताकि यहां फ़िल्म इंडस्ट्री फले फुले ।

MAKING OF A SHORT FILM “CHOTE USTAD” IN CHANDIGARH

The shooting of a new short film named “chote ustad” is going on in the beautiful city Chandigarh. The movie is directed by Mayyank Sharrma. This movie will release on OTT platforms like MX Player and Hungama. The movie is making under banner MSAsian Entertainment Private Limited in association with MS Asian Film Academy and produced by Sanjali Suri and Mihiranah. MS Asian Film Academy believes in enhancing the acting skills of kids, adults and all age group and giving 100% assistance to all the students in short films, feature film and many more. The casting of all the projects is being done by MS Asian Casting. Written by aloke updhayaya who wrote dabang 3 in Bollywood.

The movie is a family based one and intrigues the viewers on the notions of religion. The short film illustrates the omnipresence and forms of the almighty God. This story is a reflection of humanity and how God helps his devotees. 

The cinematographer is Mahesh S Rajan, Chief Associate Director Jatin, Associate Director  Rivabh, Assistant Directors Pintu Rai, Kabir Nanda. The makeover artist is Sunita and Pushpa. The lead appearance is being done by Jashan Sharma and Shivom Sharma with supporting child actors Mihiransh, Kesshaa Gill, Tiana Grover, Nirvi Shilpi. The main role is being done by Bollywood actor Girish Thapar along with many supporting actors like Monika Sharma, Shreya Bhatnagar, Kabir Nanda,Shekhar, Sambhav Saluja, Rivabh, Mohit Pandey, Shubham Dabla,Sohail Khan,Dr.Shilpi Tomar.

The director Mayyank Sharrma quotes, “We are going to make sure that we present the audience with a different and interesting story. We are glad to shoot the movie in Chandigarh as it is such a clean and green city. The crew is also working with full enthusiasm and hard work. I hope the film is loved by one and all. “

Haryana government will soon introduce Film and Entertainment Policy: Chief Minister

Haryana Government is formulating a Film and Entertainment Policy for the convenience of filmmakers and artists. Apart from this, about 60-70 acres of land in Pinjore have been earmarked for Film City. Efforts will be made to promote the culture of Haryana and Punjab in particular through this Film City. Haryana Government supports artistes, and will continue to work for their interest in future as well. The artistes will not face any kind of problem in Haryana.

Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said this while addressing the veteran artistes of Punjab and Haryana at Hotel Mount View in Chandigarh today. Songs made on achievements of Haryana Government by famous singer Mr. Daler Mehndi were released on this occasion. During this, songs were released by the Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal alongwith Daler Mehndi and his wife, film actor Hobby Dhaliwal, singer Pammi Bai, actress Nisha, Dilbag Singh, Sapna Choudhary etc.

Today the state is developing due to the struggle and hard work of the people of Haryana

On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that Punjab-Haryana used to be a single province earlier, later Haryana came into existence in 1966. At that time it seemed that Punjab is very developed, and everyone wondered about how Haryana will be able to move forward on the path of development. But due to the struggle and hard work of the people of Haryana, today Haryana has gone far ahead of Punjab in terms of development. Haryana is also ahead of Punjab in terms of strength in the Indian Army.

Sh. Manohar Lal said that the image of India that has been created on the world stage under the leadership of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi has led to the big countries now believing that only India can show the world the path of peace and harmony. Speaking on the occasion, renowned singer Daler Mehndi said that when he used to pass through Haryana, he used to feel very happy to see the hoardings of the Chief Minister on the roads. Though he had never met the Chief Minister, he was deeply impressed by his personality and his vision and zeal for working towards the welfare of the state. He said that the Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi and the Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal understood that they are people connected with the soil, so they are working for the welfare of all by connecting emotionally with the needy.

The state government has done many works for the welfare of women

Haryanvi artiste Sapna Choudhary said that the state government has done a lot of development work in the last seven years. Seven years ago, women had to face many problems due to lack of toilets. But today, due to the efforts of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Sh. Manohar Lal, women have got real relief due to the provision of toilets. Thanks to the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister for this.

Haryana government is doing public welfare work

Punjabi singer Pammi Bai, who attended the programme, said that this is the first time that the Chief Minister of a state is meeting all the artistes by bringing them on one platform like this. Artists have got a chance to express their views.

Seeing the development of Haryana, there is hope for progress

On this occasion, singer Dolly Guleria said that under the guidance of Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal, the hope of progress has been created after seeing development taking place in Haryana. On entering Haryana, the heart feels cool after seeing the atmosphere and progress here. On coming to Panchkula, there is such a feeling that as if it is our own state. We feel proud to see the way progress is being made in the country and the state under the leadership of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi and Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal.

Road network strengthened in Haryana

Singer Kaptan Ladi said that a network of roads has been laid in Haryana. Road network has a special importance for the development of any region. Today the condition of roads connecting villages is better, due to which there is no problem in traffic. The development taking place at the ground level is visible.
