The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is reaching out to the last person in the society aiming to inform welfare schemes of the government to the public and to fulfil the vision of developed India by 2047 of Prime Minister, Sh.Narendra Modi, has been met with great enthusiasm in Haryana.
The Yatra has so far drawn over 22.50 lakh participants, including over 9,31,000 women. Over 18,56,352 lakh people have pledged to make India a developed nation by 2047.
Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal has been committed to reaching the benefits of government schemes to the last person in the society. He has been following the principles of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay’s Antyodaya and Mahatma Gandhi’s vision of ‘Gram Swaraj’ for the past 9 years. The Chief Minister’s vision of good governance entered its tenth year on December 25, 2023.
The Yatra has been a boon for the state government’s efforts to reach out to the people after the Jan Samvad programme. It has helped to increase awareness of government schemes and provide benefits to the needy. At 3284 places people were informed about government schemes including both villages and cities and 4322 eminent people have also not only shown interest but also participated in the Yatra.
As part of the Yatra, health camps have been organised and over 4,40,000 people have been screened for diseases. Villagers and families are happy that their talented youth are being honoured as during the Yatra with 18,177 women, 29,837 students, 4,144 athletes, and 3,977 artists have been honoured.
The Yatra is a powerful tool for social and economic transformation. It is helping to build a stronger, more prosperous, and more equitable India
During the Yatra, people are seen to be aware of health check-ups and are satisfied that information and tests about the Nirogi Haryana, Ayushman Bharat, Chirayu Haryana, and TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan are available at their doorstep. Therefore, people are getting their health checked. The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is moving forward with the pledge of a developed India, making India a strong, prosperous, and powerful nation.
The goal of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi and Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal is to bring government schemes directly to the homes of the underprivileged. There are many schemes such as Ayushman Bharat, Jan Dhan Yojana, Har Ghar Nal Se Jal, Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, and Swachh Bharat that are being presented before the public through this Yatra. The government’s various schemes are being explained in LED vans and during the Yatra, stalls based on Antyodaya were set up by various departments to sensitise citizens and the benefits of the schemes were provided to the people present on the spot.
