Haryana Social Justice and Empowerment Minister, Sh Krishan Kumar Bedi said that farmers issues will be addressed through the F2DF model, meaning Factory to Direct Farmer and Farmer to Direct Factory. Under this initiative, goods will be purchased directly from farmers at the factory, and similarly, goods will be supplied directly from the factory to farmers, eliminating middlemen. The goods procured from farmers through the factory will then reach consumers, ensuring direct benefits for the farmers.

Bedi was speaking to the farmers after inaugurating the Kisan Mela in Narwana (Jind) today.

At the fair, farmers were provided with comprehensive information on everything from seed selection to market access, along with significant discounts on agricultural equipment. Stalls showcasing tractors, farming equipment, fertilizers, seeds, medicines, spices, and other food items were set up at the event. The Cabinet Minister also visited the stalls and interacted with the participants. Farmers took advantage of the fair to purchase farming-related equipment.

During his address, Cabinet Minister Sh Krishan Kumar Bedi assured farmers that they need not worry about crop damage due to hailstorms in the state. There is no requirement for farmers to approach any Patwari, as the government will conduct a special Girdawari to assess the damage. He said that no farmer would be left facing any issues, as the State Government stands firmly with the farmers.

He further stated that both the Central and State Governments are working together for the betterment of farmers. He highlighted that previous governments had provided minimal support to farmers, whereas the current government ensures that benefits directly reach farmers’ pockets. He also compared past policies, mentioning that earlier governments provided loans to farmers at an interest rate of Rs 2.50 per hundred, making it nearly impossible for them to repay the principal, with all the money spent on interest. In contrast, under the BJP government, late Prime Minister Sh Atal Bihari Vajpayee was the first to connect farmers to nationalized banks with loans at a reasonable interest rate of 12 annas, greatly benefiting farmers and strengthening the farming community across the country.

Haryana Transport Minister Anil Vij said that, to facilitate devotees attending the Mahakumbh in Prayagraj, the state transport department had operated a total of 595 buses from all districts upto February 21, with all buses running at full capacity. The transport department has recorded an average receipt of Rs. 43.85 per kilometer under this arrangement.

Vij said that the transport department had decided to introduce bus services due to the increasing number of devotees traveling to the Mahakumbh. As a result, the operation of buses was initiated. He said that a total of 595 buses have been operated.

The introduction of bus services from Haryana has greatly benefited devotees traveling to and from the Mahakumbh. Sh. Vij confirmed that Haryana Roadways will continue to run buses to Prayagraj until the end of the Mahakumbh.

For the convenience of the public, 21 buses were run from Ambala, 24 from Narnaul, 80 from Delhi, 46 from Faridabad, 25 from Sonipat, 60 from Gurugram, 28 each from Jhajjar, Karnal, Palwal and Rewari, 18 from Fatehabad, Hisar and Rohtak, 19 each from Chandigarh and Kurukshetra, 14 from Bhiwani, 16 from Dadri and 15 each buses were run from Sirsa, Nuh, Panchkula, Panipat, Kaithal, Jind and Yamunanagar.

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said that the people’s support is with the BJP, and a strong triple-engine government will be formed in Haryana during the upcoming civic elections. The state government has always prioritized development and public welfare. It remains fully committed to safeguarding the interests of every section of society.

The Chief Minister made these remarks while addressing the gathering at a program held in Yamunanagar today. Earlier, he paid his respects at the Pracheen Devi temple and Shri Kheda Maharaj Ji’s shrine, offering prayers for the well-being and prosperity of the people.

He said that the current state government is consistently working towards the progress and upliftment of all of Haryana and every Haryanvi, in line with Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi’s vision, “Sabka Saath-Sabka Vikas” and principle of “Haryana Ek-Haryanvi Ek.” He further said that after the civic elections, develop in the state will be ensured at three times the speed.

Speaking to media persons after the program, the Chief Minister said that the public is highly satisfied with the policies and development initiatives of the current government. With tremendous public support for the BJP in the civic elections, he assured that the party will secure a historic victory, leading to the formation of a strong triple-engine government in Haryana.

The Chief Minister added that the formation of a streamlined government will not only accelerate the pace of development but also ensure that the people directly benefit from government schemes.

Cabinet Minister Sh Shyam Singh Rana, MLA Sh Ghanshyam Das Arora, former Cabinet Minister Sh Kanwar Pal, and other dignitaries were also present at the event.

Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister, Sh Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that a national-level committee will soon be established to promote natural farming across the country. Through this committee, farmers of the country will be made aware about adopting natural farming practices and to provide them with the necessary training. He said that if farmers adopt natural farming correctly, it will not only boost their income but also preserve soil fertility. In addition, citizens will benefit from access to vegetables, grains, and fruits free from chemicals and pesticides.

The Union Minister made these remarks after observing the natural farming practices under the guidance of Gujarat Governor, Acharya Devvrat, in  village Kainthala in Kurukshetra district. Prior to this, Sh Shivraj Singh Chauhan visited Gurukul Kurukshetra, where he closely examined the Gaushala for indigenous cows, the Gobar Gas Plant, the Gurukul’s hostel, and other facilities. Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat provided detailed insights into the progress and achievements of the Gurukul. Following this, the Union Minister, Gujarat Governor, and Haryana Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister, Sh Shyam Singh Rana, observed the ongoing natural farming efforts in village Kainthala.

The Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare was thoroughly impressed by the wheat, sugarcane crops, as well as the vegetables and fruit plants at the Kanthala Natural Farming farmhouse. Union Minister observed the jaggery-making process and had the opportunity to taste fresh jaggery. After witnessing these important practices, the Union Minister commended the efforts of Gujarat Governor Acharya Dr. Devvrat, stating that it was truly rewarding to see the practical application of natural farming in the fields of Gurukul. The Union Minister highlighted the detrimental effects of excessive use of chemicals and fertilizers, adding that it has led to a significant loss of soil fertility and the decline of beneficial insects. He also pointed out the rise of various diseases linked to produce grown with these harmful practices. He warned that if the situation does not change, the future generations of the country will not forgive the damage done to the environment.

The Union Minister said that now is the ideal time to embrace natural farming. By gradually transitioning to this method, farmers can earn substantial profits. He clarified that the belief that natural farming leads to reduced production is a misconception. When done correctly, natural farming not only preserves soil fertility but also enhances the quality of food grains and crops. Furthermore, this method allows for the simultaneous cultivation of multiple crops, an impressive example of which can be seen at the farm in village Kainthala. The vibrant crops there brought back memories of farming practices from earlier times.

The Union Minister encouraged farmers across the country to visit the Kainthala natural farming model as a source of inspiration. He highlighted that the mission to promote natural farming is being advanced under the leadership of Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi. He commended Gujarat Governor Acharya Dr. Devvrat for his exceptional work in furthering this cause.

The Minister advised that farmers should begin by adopting natural farming on a small scale, such as one or two acres, but stressed that proper training is essential. Natural farming can only be effectively implemented with the right knowledge and techniques. He also said that thousands of people are visiting the farm, which has become recognized nationwide as a model of successful natural farming.

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said that with the formation of a triple-engine government, the state’s development will progress at three times the speed. The government is committed to advancing every village and city on the path of development, which has resulted in increased trust from the state’s citizens. This growing confidence will also translate into public support during the upcoming municipal elections.

The Chief Minister made these remarks while addressing the gathering at a program in Thanesar, Kurukshetra, on Saturday.

Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that the people of the country and the state have witnessed how the double-engine government has elevated Haryana to new heights of development. Now, the time has come to add the third engine. With the blessings of the people, local government will also be formed in the municipal bodies. The people of the state have seen through the opposition’s lies and will no longer fall victim to their temptations and greed.

The Chief Minister said that the government is working with the aim of serving the last person of the society. Efforts are being made to implement schemes that focus on the development of every area in the state and the upliftment of all citizens. The government has organized Samadhan Shivir to listen to the problems of the common people and resolve them.

He further stated that, even before completing its first 100 days, the government has already provided significant relief to citizens by implementing both small and large schemes. The government is making rapid progress on the path of development every day.

Chandigarh, February 21 – Haryana State Election Commissioner Sh. Dhanpat Singh has said that nomination papers for elections to Municipal Corporation Panipat will be filled from February 21 to February 27 on all working days (except Sunday, February 23 and gazetted holiday declared on account of Mahashivratri on February 26).

He said the nomination papers will be scrutinized on February 28. After that, candidates who want to withdraw their nomination can do so on March 1 from 11 am to 3 pm. Election symbols will be allotted to the candidates after 3 pm on the same day. On March 1 itself, the list of candidates contesting the election and polling stations will be pasted in public places. After this, voting will be held on March 9 from 8 am to 6 pm. On completion of the entire election process, counting of votes will be done from 8 am on March 12 and the election results will be declared on the same day. For the convenience of the candidates contesting the elections, a single window has been set up at the district level to give all types of NOCs.

The State Election Commissioner said along with the post of Mayor in Panipat Municipal Corporation, elections will be held for ward members in 26 wards. A total of 365 polling booths have been set up in all 26 wards. According to the ward-wise final published voter list of Panipat Municipal Corporation, there are a total of 4,8,534 voters, out of which 2,17,559 are male voters, 1,90,962 are female voters and 13 are other category voters.

Chandigarh, February 21 –Additional Principal Secretary to Haryana Chief Minister Dr. Saket Kumar and Commissioner and Secretary Animal Husbandry and Dairying Department Mr. Vijay Singh Dahiya, held a meeting today with representatives from three associations to discuss the demands of Veterinary Livestock Development Assistants (VLDA) at the Haryana Civil Secretariat. During the meeting, the representatives of the association also submitted a demand letter.

While listening to the representatives’ demands, Dr. Saket Kumar said that, under the guidance of Chief Minister Sh Nayab Singh Saini, the government is fully committed to the welfare of its employees. As such, all demands will be considered with due attention and sympathy.

During the meeting, it was shared that the state government is dedicated to ensuring the health care of livestock across Haryana. Mobile vans are also being deployed to provide health services to animals. Veterinary Livestock Development Assistants (VLDAs) are consistently fulfilling their duties with dedication.

The representatives of the association presented several demands, including a change in the designation of VLDA, a revision of the VLDA diploma name, amendments to the service rules, the introduction of an online transfer system, and the establishment of a Diploma Veterinary Council. In response, Dr. Saket Kumar assured that these demands would be addressed and resolved at the earliest.

Dr. Saket Kumar further stated that committees will be formed to make policy decisions on some of the demands. These committees will include professors from Lala Lajpat Rai Veterinary and Animal Science University (LUVAS) in Hisar, as well as representatives from the association.

Director General Animal Husbandry and Dairy Department, Dr. LC Ranga, along with representatives from the Diploma Veterinary Association, Veterinary and Livestock Extension Association, and Diploma Veterinary Association Haryana were also present in the meeting.

Chandigarh, February 21 – Haryana Chief Minister Sh Nayab Singh Saini, while presenting Haryana’s interests before the Ravi-Beas Water Tribunal, said that the final decision on the report submitted by the Ravi-Beas Water Tribunal on 30th January 1987 should be made at the earliest so that Haryana can receive its rightful share of water without further delay.

The Chief Minister made these remarks during a meeting with the Ravi-Beas Water Tribunal, which visited Chandigarh.

Sh Nayab Singh Saini extended a warm welcome to Justice Sh. Vineet Saran, Chairman of the Ravi and Beas Water Tribunal, Member Justice Sh P. Naveen Rao, and Sh. Suman Shyam on behalf of the 2.80 crore people of Haryana. He said that the Ravi and Beas Water Tribunal had submitted its report on January 30, 1987. Since that day, people of all ages in Haryana – from children to the elderly – have been eagerly awaiting a final decision on this matter.

The Chief Minister expressed his hope that the Tribunal would deliver a prudent and fair judgment, one that would be widely respected across the country.

He said that water conservation for future generations is not only a priority for India but has also become a global concern. To address this, comprehensive water conservation plans must be developed. He said that former Prime Minister Late Sh Atal Bihari Vajpayee had initiated plans to link rivers, a vision that is now being advanced by Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi. The Haryana government has also taken significant steps toward establishing a framework for river linkage.

Sh Nayab Singh Saini said that the SYL issue remains critical for Haryana, with the Hon’ble Supreme Court ruling in Haryana’s favour. However, the state has yet to receive its rightful share of water from Punjab. He pointed out that Haryana has repeatedly raised the demand for its water share across multiple forums, but the Punjab government has made no progress on this matter. He expressed hope that the SYL issue would be resolved soon.

Chief Principal Secretary to Chief Minister of Haryana, Sh Rajesh Khullar, Additional Chief Secretary Irrigation and Water Resources Department, Sh Anurag Agarwal and the Advocate Generals of Haryana and Punjab were also present on this occasion.
